I love how striking your character designs are!! And feel free to ignore this, but I’d love to see moonwatcher in your style!
I will never ignore this! couldn't decide which I liked better so here's both.

midnight flight
Lulu left her house in a bit of a haze. Truly, she meant to turn in early tonight, pouring over her sketchbook until the noise in her brain quieted enough to let her sleep. She’d still enlisted the help of a few xanaxes, which she decided was a solid choice with the way this night was going. Merrick having Holly issues was nothing new, though it seemed to be getting worse with time. This, Lulu could deal with. She’d done this before. What was new was... God.
It’s not like Lulu didn’t know about Merrick’s attraction to Ethan-- she’d have to be blind. Even more so if she didn’t notice that the feeling was mutual. But.. That’s part of why I like him, she said. Like. Lulu wasn’t too stoned to see the significance there. Lately it’s been... I don’t know. What did that even mean? Lulu was sure she probably didn’t want to know. Which is not to say she didn’t think about it the whole walk over, two bottles of smirnoff clanking around in her bag. This was stupid. Why was she even thinking about this when it so clearly wasn’t a thing. Merrick said nothing happened, and nothing would, and Lulu believed her. There were just some lines you didn’t cross, after all.
She was in the Wood’s backyard before she knew it, her body moving on autopilot. All the lights were out, as she expected, so she shot Merrick a quick “here” text. She wasn’t kept waiting long, thankfully. Goddamn Georgia mosquitos had been eating her alive this summer. She gave a quick swat at the air around her. “All I have are downers,” she said in lieu of a greeting, shifting her weight to one side. “Are we going to the lake?”
