Imre Kiss - Sweet Cherry Soul

This is just a glimpse of Imre Kiss’ album “Midnight Wave”, that got a vinyl and digital release on Lobster Theremin last autumn after firstly only being available on tape. The album is a collection of beautiful ambient, sometimes ranging into lo-fi with wavy sprinkles. Like “Sweet Cherry Soul”, many are like sketches of a mood. Not specific in what they express, but at the same time firmly grasping a certain feeling hovering around the place. “Sweet Cherry Soul” brings you into a melancholic picture, loneliness all around but with the reassurance of having a strip of hope on the horizon.
