@pngjester Thank you so much for making a whole thing with prompts for this sweet pairing! Even if I don't get all the days done, I'm still so happy this exists at all! And I can't wait to see what you make for it, too!

"Just what do you think you're doing?"

Moon shrugged. "Hey, our therapy session's over. I'm not great with emotions, but I read somewhere, or Sun probably told me, actually, that it's good to do something that'll help calm you down after an intense emotional encounter."

At this, Carme chuckles. "And I assume our therapy session was such an experience?"

"Well, not really, I guess. We didn't touch on trauma or anything, just me rambling about a new project I'm actually excited about," Moon admitted, "but I still wanna watch a movie with you anyway. So what'll it be?"

"Hmmmm. I don't suppose I have a preference, my dear."

The shorter lunar inventor rolls his optics. "Oh, come on. There's got to be something you want to watch. I know you looked interested when I put on Bluey the other day. You're so goofy, but I see why you like it; it definitely feels like your style."

"Hm. You're right, but as I said, I have no preference. I will watch whatever you want to," the tall barista replied easily, coming over to join his partner on the couch. Moon's expression faltered.

"I know, but I don't want to choose. I don't want control. Not right now," he said, fiddling with the remote in his hands before deciding to push it into Carme's lap.

The corners of Carme's lips quirked ever so slightly. "Ah, I see now."

He took the remote from Moon, much to the other's sagging relief, and Carme felt the slightest bit of butterflies in his chassis at the sight of his partner finally relaxing. His adorable, silly partner, who struggled so hard to put words to his feelings, who was doing just that right now. And now that Carme understood, he was more than happy to reward. He hummed quietly as he flicked through the titles, landing on a familiar one. The show was about a high-class family getting ready for the season, and a duke and a duchess who were scheming to make the best of it. Moon chuffed in amusement.

"I should have known you'd stop on this one," he smiles. "Welp, let's see what happens next, babe. Those two had better not mess up in front of the Queen!"

His partner leaned back, splaying across the couch and pulling him along with so Moon's back was against Carme's chest. The show stretched on well into the night, long after the two had entered sleep-mode.

Author's note: I headcanon that Moon struggles to let go of his carefully created sense of control around everyone except Carme. No, with Carme, he welcomes it. Likes it. Needs it.
