A random headcanon: Remember in the ministrife, when that one Tavros showed up in an altered version of Vriska’s fairy dress? He has that in the alpha timeline, too. Nabbed Vriska’s copy of the dress when she ditched it in favor of her usual clothes.
General Opinion over said character: A sassy lovable nerd child with avoidance issues. DID NOTHING WRONG Kind of killed Jade’s grandpa but adults kind of have a terrifying reputation on Alternia and probably wouldn’t hesitate to kill/abuse a defenseless youngster, so while he jumped the gun and should have asked someone about adults in human culture, it’s not as if he had malicious intent. Other than that he DID NOTHING WRONG well, the whole false confidence thing kind of made him act badly, but we should really consider Vriska’s role in that: she forced this gross definition of confidence on him in which having confidence meant doing what you want without regard for anybody else’s feelings.
He did somethings wrong, but they were either because of his abuser’s influence on him or because of genuine mistakes. Considering that, he’s probably one of the most innocent troll characters.
It was an attempt at some light observational comedy, really. I guess it failed.
