I don’t know what Hax deserves for his coaching during that match because the whole fucking world does not feel enough. I was popping into the HBG watch party and they were expressing concern for Hax’s mental because No Shit Hax’s mental is shot. Just being live for thirteen hours is hard enough, let alone doing something as demanding and unpredictable as coaching.
And yet. And yet. His calmness and supportive comms never cracked. Not through a world reset, not through a second failed one cycle, not through the entire HOUR AND MORE that the match took place. What could have been tournament-ending, whether due to being knocked out or through sheer shattered mental, turns into a funny haha toolsmith incident instead.
Hax is one of the funniest, most positive, and just plain impressive runners MCSR has ever produced, and a fucking class act. Holy.
