Since arriving here at Hive City, one thing had given Kanata some comfort. His friends were here. Their names had been on the housing list. There was only the matter of finding them. Chiaki would be a bit more difficult. It wasn’t like him to stay in one place, so simply having his name on the board meant that he would have to wait until a time that he knew Chiaki would be home. On the other hand, Midori was very likely to be home, unless he had been dragged out by someone else.
Navigating the city was one of the more difficult challenges he faced in this, but after a bit of walking, Kanata managed to find the apartment where Midori was listed and knock on the door. His clothes were soaked from having earlier been in the fountain, but… Well, that was fine. Midori wouldn’t mind the puddles too much.
