     “Ah, what a surprise! Midori-kun, are you working today?” Shinobu bounces up to the cash register excitedly, as he places his groceries onto the counter. Truthfully, he hoped that Midori is at least helping out so he can see him. Luckily for him, he is. 

        His parents unexpectedly sent him out on a deed for once, usually they handle everything on their own-- but he certainly didn’t mind leaving the house on weekends. While they told him to go to the closest store to fetch vegetables for tonight’s dinner, Shinobu only felt confident going to Midori’s family’s store since he’d at least feel a little comfortable knowing a face there.

        “Just like I thought, Midori-kun looks super cool when he is wearing the store uniform.” He praises-- his eyes sparkle as he looks at the taller boy’s outfit. “Uuuu, I cannot help but feel a little jealous~♪”

what an amazing scent. nose perked into the air as he caught a whiff. NERVOUSNESS set in as his gaze landed upon the origin of the delightful scent. the boy was tall, the thought of talking to him made hajime nervous ( though he’s nervous to talk to anyone ) but the scent was SOOTHING enough to calm his nerves.

“takamine... um,” fingers fiddling together as he approached the other’s desk, “what is, well, your lunch smells delicious.” stumbling over his words, his gaze was glued to the ground in a POOR attempt at communication. despite being classmates, hajime often stuck to tomoya’s side, but this little venture had already made him REGRET straying his place.

"I think I'm going to die ..." He says this as always, but it is nothing new. Ryusei Green couldn't keep up with everyone today. He even flubbed up a few steps here and there during the choreography because he was sleepy. His bones ached too, he thinks. It was so cold ... "Aah, ... senpai ... I'm sorry ... I really messed up all your hard work today, huh ..."

             a strong sense of empathy filled her heart whenever he talked poorly of himself like this, first instinct to encourage him. a warm smile crept onto her lips, a deep understanding of how as she tried to sound as reassuring as possible to ease his self doubt. despite her not being an official idol herself, she could imagine that emotions played a vital part in one’s level of performance. if he wasn’t doing well today, then there was no point in being disappointed in him. he had the talent after all, she knew he did. sometimes, it was a just a matter of encouragement as well as the right amount of patience with him.

            ` it’s okay, midori-kun. you did your best today, and that’s all that matters. everyone has their off-days. so please don’t be sad, okay? you can always try again tomorrow. `

his gentle rubellite eyes flicked over tuft of  UMBER , curled upon his nacreous clavicle in palpable megrims. yuzuru gently cards fingertips through those tendrils in comfort, and hesitantly pecks the middle jut of midori’s eyebrows.

         He is standing six feet away, yet still CRANES to meet Midori’s eyes. Sternly, a slender finger points down.
