A midpoint review of 2016
Everyone had high hopes for this year
Bad shit keeps happening
Things have been starting to pick up moderately for me
Except for my love life
That part kinda sucks still
I’m not complaining about men because I’m not an asshat like that
I like my tagline but I'm not 100% sure it fits...I'll deal with that later.
My rough draft (with a few placeholders and not all of the pages) of the PDF I'll be presenting next semester during my midpoint review/thesis proposal.
I used a collage of prohibition era newspapers for the background--though had to make them considerably lighter on some pages to avoid them conflicting too much with the material on the page.
My "deliverables" page is basically copied and pasted from the official guidelines; I'll probably customize it with what I'm actually delivering for my final once I figure it out.
I also used my old, first sketch of Sweetpea since I believe technically I'm not supposed to have refined it just yet.
Midpoint
I have my midpoint review next week, and I'm really nervous for it. I have to select my top 10 images from the last few years and submit them to be critiqued by the heads of the department. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with this, or why I'm doing it at 3AM....
Anyhow, I really hope it ends up going well. I just wish i had more images to choose from. Sooo many images were stolen, I guess I'll have to work with what i've got.
