[100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY] day 10
I did literally nothing productive until 6pm today due to the fact that I had a hangover from last night’s end of term party that I had with my boyfriend and all of our friends to celebrate getting through the immense workload that is first term of the year, so I basically just lazed around in bed with my man, eating chocolate and drinking lots of water and headache pills! It’s important to party a little after working hard, life is allll about balance. I got home late afternoon and started with an essay assignment I have due tomorrow and handed it in on turnitin. It was entered around the set work book I am currently reading for my English Studies module, and it’s called Purple Hibiscus (for all my followers who read a lot, this is such an amazing novel OMG). I haven’t finished the book yet, but I’m nearly there (no, I didn’t have to read the entire book to do the assignment, and sparknotes is always a good help if I have some gaps in my knowledge). Today was also the first official day of the midterm Easter break, which is around 10 days, and tomorrow I am going to start working. Unlike high school, in university, a midterm break is basically just a week and a half to catch up on assignments and to start studying for upcoming exams which start in late May, so unfortunately it’s not really a holiday in the sense of relaxation, but luckily when I get back, the second term is 2 weeks shorter than this term that has just passed (6 weeks instead of 8), so there is hope at the end of the tunnel!
Peace and love for the weekend and Happy Easter to all of my followers who celebrate it :)
