Idk about the rest of you but I LOVE when folks give Clark a polite midwestern accent in their writing, like draw attention to it.

Clark will just be talking but the author does it so he obviously has an accent, like

Clark: I dunno, Ma’am, I’m sorry

Clark: It sure has been nice talkin’ to you hun, goodbye!

Clark: thank you very much, sir!

Clark: *slaps knees as he stands, preparing to leave or end a visit* Well then!

As a Midwesterner and who lives around the area that Wally West does in Canon I would like to propose the thing that I have found all Midwesterns do:

Whenever they hear someone speak in a Southern accent, whether it's a mild one or a DEEP South accent, we adapt it. We start speaking in a Southern drawl that is around the same cadence as the person we are speaking to. When I talk to people who have a deep, DEEP Southern drawl, I begin to talk with the same cadence that they do. And I've noticed that so do most of the people in my area.

So, I would like to propose that when Wally West and the Team run into the Terror Twins, he just starts talking with a Southern Drawl.

Or, when he talks to the Hawks (because I just found out they're in Louisiana??) the three of them just bring out the Southern Drawls in each other.

Or, when he meets Jaime Reyes (I know Jaime doesn't have a stereotypical Southern accent and that people don't always adapt the accents around them, but let me be, damnit.) and they talk, they just start talking in Southern drawls

And the Team is always just like "W O T"

I dunno

I like the idea

And I NEVER see anyone with my kinda accent?? And Midwestern accents on TV are SO misleading. We do not talk like that. Most of us (at least in my area) do NOT just go "Oh! You betcha!" literally never once heard someone say that one hundred percent seriously. -_-

(Would be fucking hilarious if Clark said a common Midwestern phrase and Wally just goes (⁠ﾉﾟ⁠0ﾟ⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠~)

Hey Kenny, sorry if you've already answered this, but how to you conceal all your scars from your various deaths? Aside from the orange parka, do you have a really high coverage foundation or something?

well mostly, my deaths don't leave scars. so the only "scars" I have are from injuries that didnt' kill me. and i say "mostly" because that doesn't count injuries caused by long deaths, or that happened during them. like, if im bleeding out from a bullet or something, I only have a bullet scar if something else was killing me first- like cancer or something- and the cancer kicks** me before the bleeding does. and, most of those near-death'ers*** are on my torso and back and thighs and upper-arms, and since its always cold here- or below 73 degrees [Fahrenheit]- I never have to show them. the others [non-near-death'rs] are on my hands and knees, like on my knuckles and palms- so they just look like life-ly**** scrapes and bumps.

bc i'm from the south eastern area of my state, not like the MIDWEST midwest if you get what i mean. it's like midwest by association

but i def have a couple phrases that apparently midwesterners say a lot. like apparently saying "you're good" a lot is a super midwestern thing and i didn't know that but i use it every other sentence 😭😭😭 and "ope"
