I've been taggged. I don't usually do these but this coincided with the baby napping and I'm totally procrastinating working on el manuscripto. I already broke the rules because I haven't reposted the rules but I never tag people back anyway so its cool. I'mma answer these questions from midwesternmomma. Sorry I am all hopped up on Mello Yello. (I'm unna come at you like a spider monkey, Chip!)
1. When is the last time you gave a sincere compliment to someone other than a member of your immediate family? Who was it? Yikes. I don’t know but this has more to do with me being a hermit than me not giving compliments. I sincerely tell people that they are beautiful and so are their children on a daily basis (instagram).
2. What is the accomplishment you’re most proud of? Oh this is so hard. I’m proud I graduated college, despite my degree being a tad useless (English! Ok, right, a lot useless). I’m proud of myself for following my heart and getting married to this guy in the Navy and moving away from everything on a hunch (And shutting out everyone who told me I was crazy). I’m proud of how well I did on my own when he left me in our new apartment across the country from everything I had ever known. I’m proud of our little family and our beautiful children. We made tiny people and they are fully awesome.
3. Cremated or buried? Buried. Cremation just freaks me out. It is like dirty and can be spilled, especially in sitcoms.
4. If you go to the zoo, what animal/exhibit are you most excited to see? ELEPHANNTSSS! Obsessed. Unless I’m at a petting zoo, then the cows (been known to call them cowwies).
5. When is the last time you laughed so hard you cried/peed? I cried last night watching that NFL lip-sync video. I peed from crying all the time when I was pregnant.
6. What fictional character do you think has the most similarities to you? I don’t know! I’m like a little Luna Lovegood with a splash of Hermione Granger and a healthy dose of Juno (minus the pregnant at 16 thing), a little bit Liz Lemon (okay, maybe a lot) and a little bit Jess from New Girl… Anyone got anything that combines those into one character? I’m a lot like the character Tessa in my unnamed novel so stay tuned for that (she is a really minor character, but still).
7. Besides money and time, what do you really wish you had more of in your life? My friends and family that are far away. And my husband is fully awesome but I wish I had one more best friend around.
8. What’s a guaranteed way to make you smile, no matter your mood? My kids laughing. Ever since Cece was a baby if I am feeling bad I bust out the tickle monster or some weird clownish behavior.
9. Chocolate or vanilla? Soft serve or scoops? Chocolate scoops!! Yum! I also like Vanilla scoops with Hershey’s syrup.
10. Do you have a favorite sports team you follow and always support? Who? And why that team? THE NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS. Because I always have, since before I can remember. Because I wanted to play for them (Big dreams to be the first woman in the NFL) when I was a girl. Because my heart actually soars and breaks with their successes and failures and I’ve got no control over it anymore, it is just who I am.
