Does anyone have scans of Mie Takase's Persona 2: Innocent Sin and/or Eternal Punishment novel(s)? Only the first two chapters of Innocent Sin have been translated, so I'd like to try my hand at reading the original Japanese text if I can get a digital copy.
I've scoured as much of the Internet as I can, but nothing's come up, and importing the books isn't really financially possible for me r/n 😅 I know this is a long shot, but if anyone knows where one could find scans of these novels, please let me know! I will be eternally (hah) grateful!
This joke has been haunting me and rotting out my brain for years and now I can FINALLY kick it to the curb! Also experimenting with speech bubbles so people can actually read without straining their eyeballs again.
Well shet. We got another cover for the Kirby and the Forgotten Land Novel... And yes, it is going to be 2 books like the Star Allies one....
The fact this only has about 13k views is sad to me
I mean, LOOK AT IT.
The Kirby light novels deserve to be talked about way more than they are. C’mon people, just make casual posts about them, it’s not a big deal.
So what if they’re more obscure Japanese-exclusive things? Didn't stop people with Super Star Stacker. If Gryll can be recognized, why not just... any of the many novel-exclusive characters?
Don’t most people watch the anime subbed? So why don’t they try reading some translations of these books? You can find some for quite a few, and all of them are at least PLANNED on being translated right now, so we’re almost to the point where everything currently out will be accessible in English.
And I really just wanna see more posts about these books. I’d say they’re even better than the anime. I nearly cried while reading/translating “Save the Rainbow Islands!” ...more than once.
So, to everyone reading this, I have a message:
Watch the video. Spread the word. Talk about the novels openly in the general Kirby tags. They’re Kirby media and deserve to be treated as such. They’re good, and they provide a crap load of headcanon fuel.
Seriously, like, the idea that Meta Knight just basically adopted the Meta-Knights (whatever “Meta Knight and the Galaxy’s Greatest Warrior” said) is too good to pass up. He adopts fanboys and gives them deadly weapons. That’s golden.
The end of chapter six for the Dreamy Gear novel was just-
Here's a very... concerning thing from the Mie Takase novels.
In Meta Knight and the Strongest Warrior in the Galaxy, it's revealed that Meta Knight only fights Galacta Knight to convince himself that he's still the strongest with every time he beats him. The story is a bit of a canon-divergent tangent (of an already questionably canon event) where the battle resulted in a tie, and thus Meta's deep-seated fear of helplessness and unworthiness flares up to crazy levels.
Though an intense amount of spoiler heavy moments regarding a music box that listens to one's heart, a baby Sphere Doomer, and a bratty little tag-along kid, Galacta Knight is summoned back from his prison to the horror of the Meta-Knights and the RTDL quad. When he brings him back, his voice gets "shrill with excitement" as he draws his sword and he throws all caution to the wind just to beat the hell out of this guy and prove himself.
Hey.
Hey, Meta Knight.
Meta Knight, there are therapists that you can see.
And old comic thingydoo I made around a year ago based on that one moment from one of the books: The great bandits, Squeak Squad appears to be specific. They’re so pointy, holy crap...
