This casting is wild. I dug up my character compilation graphic from my LBC postscript because we have to look at this.
Jude Law as the Dr Ritter (aka Roder, top left)? wild.
The fact that this exists? WILD. (still processing!)
Sydney Sweeney as Margaret Wittmer (our Greta Wieger — bottom left) and Ana de Armas as the Baroness (aka Countess — second from the bottom on the right)? Absurdly flattering casting.
Vanessa Kirby as Dore (our Sara)? I mean, I'm not mad at it but why the long, blond hair?
Beyond casting, I'm noticing a lot of the sex and violence that I kind of had to go out of my way to merely imply (because it was the '30s, and I was too vanilla in more ways than one lol to really bring into my game) — which of course you'd expect to be full force in a movie. I'm here for it.
And we get a glimpse of Dore's pet donkey 🥰 and from the full IMDB cast list it looks like we'll have some Captain Hancock appearances as well!
What's alarmingly missing?
