his reasoning was that the sex IS a form of connection so he got like personally offended when i said that i felt bad after we had sex.

but that's bullshit because we sure as hell ain't talking about philosophy or our favorite music or food while having sex! i want to get to know him, and you dont do that by doing it all the time.

i guess for men sex is the #1 priority or at least the top three. for me it's #1 love #2 caring #3 friendship and sex is somewhere lower. this whole thing just sucks and i am angry >:(

cuuuuuuuuuute!

She is SO cute! I blogged about her back in August and she's still at the store, poor girl. She's a little bit of a grouch with other people but with me and one of my coworkers, a complete lovebug (I think because we take her out and play with her before the store opens, which is the only chance she gets to come out). I can pet and kiss her anywhere and when she's on my shoulder she'll lean around and try to give me kisses on the mouth (she's as bad as Bentley, hah). She's such a snuggler. She doesn't talk (yet) but sometimes I think she's trying!

My mum is going to consider letting me bring her home which will probably take a while. The conure could (and, let's face it, probably will) sell before my mum ever agrees to another pet. Which may be just as well, since the ratbabies take up a lot of attention. (That's what I tell myself, although I think it'd work since the rats sleep all day and don't have playtime until 10:30-11 (or later), by which time a bird would be asleep...)

SIGH. Anyway, I love her. She's my cuppycake.
