Season 9's "Pups Stop a Mighty Eel"
Despite only appearing in three episodes so far, I quite like the Mighty Twins and I look forward to when we get to see them again! But my biggest fear is that will only ever happen when the Ladybird shows up. Granted, I know they made it their mission to try and stop her... but I’m really hoping we get to see them outside of Mighty Pups episodes, too.
I’d love to make/write my own cartoons one day, so I thought I’d try and come up with some of my own ideas to feature both Tuck and Ella in an episode that has nothing to do with super powers.
Idea #1 - Have another sports day! Perhaps Raimundo shows up with his monkeys again, or maybe Humdinger has his own team (one that doesn’t involve his kitties). Ryder needs eight players to go against them, so he calls in Everest and Tracker to help them out. Unfortunately, one of them is busy and can’t come, which makes them one player shy. That’s when Ryder decides to call Tuck and Ella and ask if they can help out! They show up, and Tuck ops to give the remaining spot to Ella, though it’s obvious from the disappointed look on his face that he was hoping he could play, too. That’s when Marshall gives up his spot, claiming he knows how clumsy he can be at sports, but more importantly he wants to be ready on the sideline with his EMT gear, in case of any injuries (perhaps one of the other pups gets called away later and he gets his chance to play after all).
Idea #2 - Somewhere outside of Adventure Bay, trouble’s brewing that Ryder deems can only be solved via an Ultimate Rescue! Just as he’s about to call in the pups, he gets another call and learns there’s a second big emergency happening elsewhere, too! Two big emergencies, so what can they do? Simple; DOUBLE Ultimate Rescues! But splitting up the team means each vehicle would get three pups each, and that might not be enough to finish the job. That’s when Ryder decides this is a job not for six pups... not for eight pups... but for all ten pups!
They split into two teams; Team A consists of Chase, Skye, Rubble, Everest, and Tracker, while Team B consists of Marshall, Rocky, Zuma, Tuck, and Ella. I haven’t really thought up which Ultimate Rescue vehicles could get used, but I’m thinking maybe making one Rocky’s, since we’ve barely seen much of it. Perhaps make the other Marshall’s, since this is me who’s coming up with the ideas so you I’d like to see it in there somewhere! lol
(In all fairness, using Zuma’s Ultimate Rescue could be interesting, since we’ve barely seen much of it, too. Or give us a surprise and show off Everest or Tracker’s ultimate vehicles!)
These ideas need some work, but I think both could make for some fun episodes. Idea #2 might also work for a season finale, since using all ten pups would certainly be a good way of finishing anything up with a bang!
What do you guys think? Any of you guys have any ideas of your own?
I haven’t really seen too many folks talk about the Mighty Twins, though they’ve only appeared in three episodes (two for Canadians) so I suppose this is to be expected. With that said, I have seen some people say they like Ella because that means more lady pups on the team.
I especially haven’t seen folks talk about Tuck, either... so, I figured I would! I guess you can call this an appreciation post of sorts... though to be honest, I already like him well enough to consider myself a fan, so I had no problem doing this anyway!
Here’s to ya, Tuck! Hope we get to see more of you some day soon. :)
Have I mentioned lately that I still think Tuck is pretty awesome? Because I still think Tuck is pretty awesome. :)
(Meant to post these earlier, but... like usual, I forgot.)
Hey, who said I was done posting content of Tuck? This awesome pup needs some more attention, and by-golly I’m gonna make sure it happens! :)
