ׂׂૢ PAIRINGS: miguel x reader x new bombshell
a couple of weeks go by, you and miguel have been doing great. of course when kelly isn’t taking miguel away from you every 5 minutes though. but it doesn’t bother you, miguel reassures you everyday that you’re his choice when it comes to the recoupling. or that’s what he makes you wanna think.
it was a beautiful day in the villa, you, serena and jana were lounging by the couches and talking. you were with miguel at first but like always, kelly took him for a talk. as you and girls are talking, you overhear rob and kendall talking about miguel and kelly.
“yeah man, miguel and kelly got “nausty” last night.” kendall says as he puts his hand over his lip and chuckles. rob just shakes his head and laughs at kendall. meanwhile you wanted to throw up while overhearing what kendall had just said. serena and jana look at each other as you have pure anger and sadness in your face. both of the girls get closer to you, each on one side of you and start comforting you.
all you can think is about miguel lying to you, last night you had went to bed early but when you woke up miguel was nowhere in bed. you had found that suspicious and asked him about it, he said him and other islanders had a couple to drink and accidentally slept outside. but what he didn’t tell you, was that he slept with kelly. you couldn’t hold the anger in anymore and get up from the couch.
serena and jana look at you and widen their eyes. “y/n, no! don’t do something that you’re gonna regret it later.” jana says as her and serena both grab you from the arm to take you back to the couch. “yeah y/n, just calm down okay? miguel is an asshole for lying to you and you don’t deserve that but you have to be the bigger person and can’t let kelly think she won.” serena says as she rubs your back for comfort.
you start to take deep breathes to calm yourself down, you knew the girls were right. if kelly was trying to be the bigger person she would’ve told you, but she didn’t. you try to not get angry but just can’t help it. the person you thought was the one was over here lying to you, in your face. after a little while, you remain calm. i look at jana and serena and give them a smile ,”thank you guys, truly. i’m gonna talk to miguel and clear some things out.” i get up from the couch and head towards miguel.
as i head towards miguel, i see him and kelly laughing their asses off with each other. i try to think to myself if i should turn back now or if i should just do it now, i shake my head and walk to miguel. i tap miguel’s shoulder and he turns his head around as he speaks up ,”heyy, my triple b. how you been.” he says as he smiles at me ,”what’s wrong? why you got that frown in ya face.” he says as he now fully turns to me and brings me in closer by tugging at my waist. i start to cave in his touch before i back up and speak up ,”no miguel, you’re not gonna get your way like this. we need to talk.” i look at him with a serious expression.
miguel furrows his eyebrows and gets a bit taken back at the tone of your voice. before you get to say anything else, he decides to speak up ,”woah, woah, calm down darling. what’s wrong? did i do something?” miguel says as he grabs your shoulders trying to get you not to leave his hold. you scoff right in front of his face and start laughing, “did i do something?” was he being serious?
“miguel, are you serious? i had to find out from kendall that you and kelly were getting “nausty” like what?” i say as i start to get angry on how clueless he was being. you see as miguel’s eyes quickly widens and he freezes. “yeah, nothing much left to say, huh?” i say as i roll my eyes at him and just shake my head in pure disappointment. you can’t take seeing him stand in front of you so cluesless, so you decide to walk away without saying any words to him.
as miguel sees you walking away, he quickly comes back to place and rushes over to you. “darling, darling, darling, please just hear me out.” miguel says as he pleads for you to listen to him. “nothing happened, yes me and her slept together but we had kept our distance. you know how kendall is, sweetheart. he’s dramatic with his sayings.” miguel says as he quickly tries to defend himself. i look away from him and just laugh.
“miguel, you LIED to me. you LIED. if you guys didn’t do anything, then why didn’t you tell me? why did i have to find out from other people, just why.” i say as i start breaking down and try to quickly wipe my tears as they stream down my face. miguel stands in there, guilty. he don’t know what to do or think, he knows that him lying to you was wrong, so why’d he do it? miguel runs his hands over his face stressed and grabs your hands.
“let’s go sit and talk, there’s too much attention on us.” he says as he drags me to the couch. “and i’ll explain to you everything, i promise.” miguel says sitting both you and him down on the couch. you keep your distance from him, not wanting to give in just yet. you sit their with your arms in your lap and ready for what miguel has to say.
miguel looks at you with sadness in his face, he knows what he did was wrong and he was trying to prove it to you. miguel scoots a bit closer and speaks up,” this is what happend darling, it was late at night and you had just went to bed. i was about to go up there with you until kelly called me, she seemed like she was wanting to talk about something serious so i stayed. but after a little while, she started flirting and i was too drunk out of mine to realize.” miguel says as he now grabs your hands to hold them ,”but i promise, nothing happened. me and her fell asleep and we were tangled in each others arm, when i had woken up i immediately apologized to her and told her that it wasn’t right to do that, she got mad and stormed off. i’m guessing she told rob and kendall that were getting “nausty” because rob and kendall weren’t even near us that night.” as miguel finishes up exposing, all the anger builds up towards kelly.
i slowly nod at him and sigh ,”and you’re 100 positive that this is the truth miguel? because please, i cannot be lied to. you already saw how rob treated me and i don’t need a rob 2.0, so just please.” i say begging him to say the 100% truth. miguel grabs me by my waist and pulls me on to his lap. he puts his head on my shoulder and wraps his arms around my waist ,”i am telling the 100% truth, darling. i lied one time and that was the last time. please forgive me, i miss my triple b.” miguel says as he teasingly kisses your shoulders.
you roll your eyes at him but can’t help but smile at him. miguel had taken a toll on you and you couldn’t blame him, he was everything that a woman would want. you nod at him and kiss him on the cheek. “okay, i believe you.” i say as i give him a smile and turn towards his direction to face him, i give him a tight hug.
as me and miguel hug, we hear one of our phones *DING*. me and miguel look at each other and laugh. i look at the phones and see that it was miguel’s. i give the phone to miguel and he yells out ,”I GOT A TEXTTTT!” everyone comes running to miguel and quickly sits around him. as everyone makes their way to miguel, he makes sure everyone is there. as everyone reassures that they’re here, miguel reads out the text ,”islanders, tonight will be a recoupling. 1 person will be getting sent out of the villa. please make sure you are ready to make your choice. #NewLove #ByeBye.”
everyone gasps in unison and you can see as everyone starts panicking. miguel can tell that you’re overthinking so he grabs your chin to face him and kisses your cheek. “it’s gonna be fine, no matter what.” miguel says as he gives you reassurance. you nod at him and smile at him. you were hoping he wasn’t lying this time.
it was now time for the recoupling, you were wearing a orange haven mini dress while miguel wore colors that were matching with your outfit. as everyone sits down by the fireplace, all of you see as ariana enters the villa. everyone cheers her own as she makes her way to the fireplace.
“islanders, tonight one of you will be getting sent home. for this recoupling, the boys will be choosing who will be getting sent home and who will not be getting sent home. now let’s begin. girls, please come stand in front.” ariana says as she steps aside and lets all the girls come and stand in front of the fireplace.
you look at miguel nervously and give him a smile, you make your way to the front and wait for the first boy to be called. you hear as ariana calls out miguel to be first boy to be called. you widen your eyes and drop your jaw. this was getting messy. you see as miguel stands out and looks at both you and kelly. you see as kelly smiles at miguel and blows him a kiss, she then looks at you and gives you a fake smile. you don’t smile back at her though, you give her a “fuck off” face and look back at miguel.
“miguel, which islander will you be choosing, and why?” ariana says as she looks at miguel. miguel clears his throat and begins to talk,”i’ve chosen this girl because throughout my journey of being in the villa, she was always there for me. she defended me, protected me and cared for me like nobody else would. she’s just not a girl for me to date but she someone’s who i see having a future with. and even through many ups and downs, she was always there by my side.” miguel says as he pauses and looks up at you with a smile. “the islander i will be choosing is…” everyone looks at you and kelly, you start to drop your head nervous on what name miguel might say. meanwhile kelly stands up straight with confidence and a big smile.
“y/n.” miguel says as he looks at you with a smile. you quickly pick your head up and laugh, surprised that he chose you. serena and jana run to you and give you a huge hug. you hug them back and look at miguel with pure love. “okay, y/n you may go with miguel.” ariana says as she smiles at both me and miguel.
you go to miguel and squeal in excitement, you both laugh and give each other a huge kiss. as you sit down, you see as kelly gives you a bitchy face and you stick your tongue out at her. childish i know but she deserves it. miguel then playfully smacks your thigh and shakes his head laughing at your behavior.
as everyone has chosen their couples, kelly was the last standing. “unfortunately kelly, you have not been chosen and therefore kicked from the villa.” ariana says as she looks at kelly. kelly sighs and nods her head in disappointment. “you have 30 minutes to say goodbye and pack up.” ariana says giving her a slight smile. “and i will see you later, islanders.” ariana says as she heads out from the villa.
you see as kelly makes her way to go pack up, the rest of the girls follow her to say their goodbyes. you and miguel on the couch and look at each other with just happiness and excitement. “you look worried, i told you, you would always be my number one choice, you’re my triple b.” miguel says as he grabs your chin for you to look at him. you shrug at him and speak up ,”i just got nervous, you guys kept hanging out a lot and i just thought you liked her more than m-“ as you’re about to finish your sentence, you feel a pair of lips on your lips. you giggle into the kiss as you’re taken back from the sudden kiss. miguel pulls back and laughs,” you talk a lot, let’s put that pretty mouth to work.”
my eyes widen and playfully smack his chest, you look at miguel and just hug him. he’s taken back from the hug but wraps his arms around you. “don’t leave me, please.” you say as you lay your head on his shoulder.
“i would never.” miguel says as he kisses your shoulder. you guys both end up cuddling on the couch, enjoying your guys presence.
