This is mainly in celebration of the total surprise vid for the collaboration between @the-undertale-mouse, @mihdal, and @underlineau on the Goatline AU. It wasn’t next in line but it was the most relevant one I could find. Please accept my humble token of gratitude!

This is what I call, “The Royal Family.” Before the humans fell down, of course. I made the black and white version for funsies, as it is from a time of the past. And it looked cool.

Could we get some backstory to Gladio, Freesia and Aster? Also love your art <3

*inhale* THANK U!! And.. thank u for letting me talk about my babies lkasjdkslaOK SO I want to make a comic/manga with them in the future, but besides for Gladio I can tell their backstories without this being a big spoiler to the story!!but dys is gonna be a little long so- here:

Basically, their mom, Anastasia, was married in to a royal family. (Vampire family, ofc) She and her husband weren’t in such a great relationship, they only met a few times before- but after a while, they fell in love&Anastasia got pregnant with Aster! (might go into details of this if I ever make the comic– BUT I mean the relationship, not how they made Aster kjasdjkasdkals ANYWAY) Sadly, the dad had many things to do so he couldn’t spend much time with his son. But his wife was a great mother and raised Aster well. When Aster was around 2, Ana found a child left in the woods while she was taking a walk- Without her husband’s consent, she took him in as the second son, giving him the name “Gladio”. He turned out to be 2 years older than Aster, but she had no way to know when his actual birthday is. So they celebrate his birthday on the date he was found. (Of how Gladio was acting at the age of 4 I will also go into details in the comic… but I can already tell ya he was in a horrible state.)Additionally, Aster treats Gladio more like a younger brother despite Gladio being older&they’re in a very good relationship.Ofc, the husband whose name I didn’t think of yet was pretty angry blah blah bUT he accepted Gladio. A year later they had Freesia and figured 3 kids is enough…… and also, the husband’s family always did their best to distract the husband from his wife. They wanted to have a grandchild, but not 3, especially since one of them is adopted lolAnyway! The 3 siblings are just, well… siblings. Unlike in most royal families, their relationship is really good and none of them is abusive towards each other. Freesia&Aster also deeply care for Gladio’s well-being.NOW.. ADDITIONALLY, MOSTLY FOR MYSELF.. I’ll write down their personalities!Aster is a very calm and laid-back boye. He’s a little shy though and has a very hard time making friends. He also plays violin… and is pretty picky. (I.. I guess I’ll have to choose what blood type he likes most lma o. He also adores sweets.)Freesia is also calm, rather patient and she doesn’t have such a problem with making friends. She’s pretty nice and quite similar to her mother. She’s also very innocent annd… I decided to make her asexual uvu (+she plays piano!)Gladio, on the other hand… he’s a little noisy, sometimes annoying… does his best being good to others so he’ll get friends, but usually fails lasdjklasI’m thinking of making him practice singing, but that’s just a small idea and idk if I’ll make that canon.Anyway… He is also VERY faithful. He’d never betray anyone… which is very important to the story.(I guess lol)edit: ALSO Aster&Freesia are smart&study pretty well. Gladio’s a dumbass and doesn’t care much for school, but still does his best for his parents uvu

So in what times do you plan to set the action for the vamp squad? Like, medieval, or perhaps modern?

HMM... I was thinking mostly of modern times. It’s a world where humans are almost extinct at this point in time tho. They’re very weak compared to the other race-(insert thinking emoji)Tbh, this is a really good question ‘cuz now I gotta think whether it’s just gonna be a world of humans&vampires or if I should add other fantasy creatures too....(so thank u! I’m also glad you’re interested in my OCs ;;)

And also (sorry it's not in one ask) what would the genre of that comic/manga be?

I’m... really unsure ajsdlkaskI want this to have a little bit of romance, but there’d be a lot of drama (because who doesn’t make their OCs suffer hah a-) and uh!! I guess it’d be.. a shoujo manga?? I’m sorr y I’m not sure how to reply to these messages correctly =‘D(and dw abt that uvu)

So (if it's not a big spoiler) when does the action take place with the vampire family?

(Nah, it’s not-)I guess I’ll just make it my world and base the city they’re living in on some country (like France maybe? we’ll see abt that-) but I haven’t really thought of that much, except for how the place they live in looks pretty fancy&has lots of trees/flowers/etc. around.
