The place was packed and that wasn't counting the amount of bodyguards that each guest brought to make sure that no one would do any sort of 'funny business'. Gideon couldn't blame them for thier paranoia, most of them--if not all--were pretty big when it comes to criminal activities.
And all of them were eager to discuss business and any potential partnerships in the near future with the host of this shindig.
It was a shame, Gideon thought, that Ramsey declined the invitation. He enjoyed the other's company and the man did employ his former protege, treated him well if he recalled correctly. Which is good, but it still stings that Ryan continues to stay rather than come back. Maybe he can arrange something later with Ramsey that would allow him to use the merc.
Taking a sip from the glass flute, Gideon glanced around as others chatted beside him. It seemed calm enough, but years of working in this sort of business gave the older man an instinct that would sound inhuman to others. Perhaps they’re right. Gideon stopped thinking himself as human a long, long time ago.

mica is always calling him for weird shit. he remembers meeting her when he accidentally came to a gun trade instead of his usual weed pick up. she had been cute with bright as fuck hair which he was sure he’d commented on. now? he went wherever she asked as long as food was involved.
“but...you look like a kid trying to stick me up! it’s super fucking cute. and the whole threat thing is just SO fucking funny!” he can’t stop laughing, each laugh bubbling out of him. in hindsight, maybe being high might NOT have been helpful since EVERYTHING was funny.
“you’re probably super scary but i mean...not really running on all cylinders here.” he was still highly functioning for a weed user but at the same time he could be easily distracted should anything distract him.

“Some stage four got tossed out of my street today. Like, he was surrounded by armed gunmen and MARCHED out of town. Did you hear that they shoot anyone who is found to be stage four?” He didn’t like it. Especially with his new problem developing on his arm. “It’s horrible.”

those tags are the most #me thing ever
when you climb up high and then drop the thing you went to get so it falls to the ground.

In all his years working for Geoff, information had become a little bit of his forte. Whether gathered online or in person, Gavin functioned as a walking database -- and target. Even so, that didn’t deter his need to learn anything he could. That urge had landed him a rumour about an informant of sorts; information for more, well, information. So there he sat, settled in the corner of some hipster coffee shop with a cold cappuccino and a dying laptop. No one said he was the greatest at following rumours.
