What’s a negative thing about your character that you enjoy writing?
It’s really, really fun to write his grudges sometimes. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend that his unwillingness to let things go is entirely healthy, but as someone who sometimes forgives and forgets a little too much – it can be very cathartic lol. I appreciate that he can be so black and white at times, and it has the potential to make for interesting dynamics I think. He’s not going to be friends with everyone, and the vitriol and pettiness is enjoyable to play.
What’s a trope or plot you’ll never get sick of roleplaying?
Found family is 100% my jam. Especially because canon leads us to believe that Miles doesn’t have much of a family, or a network of people who care about him. He never talks about anything personal in his notes, never once indicates that someone might get worried when they don’t hear from him. It’s such a contrast to the other protagonists that it actually hurts if I think about it for too long. So I’ve loved the chance that rp has given me (and Miles) to explore positive relationships. Genuinely, my favorite development has just been watching Miles surround himself with people who care about him. He’s found families in just about every verse, and I’ll never get tired of watching those relationships grow.
