While I was getting screenshots of the Smiling at Potatoes situation, I kept going and got a few others from Episode 30 of Kamen Rider Build.

I must be missing some kind of cultural context for what happened below, right? Misora is trying to get Kazumin to come back and fight alongside the team, so she goes after him with this giant valise full of tickets that are redeemable for, like, time with her in her Mii-tan idol persona. But what is up with that third category of tickets? 

Seriously, I would love for someone to explain this to me.

There’s also a scene where the characters are trying to use little homemade action figures of themselves to figure out their current situation, including Misora being possessed by the supposed Queen of Mars. Of course, Banjou and Sawatari immediately start acting like kids and Sawatari finds a way to make everything about how cute Mii-tan is.

This episode also has a nice pre-henshin pose with Sawatari, Banjou, and (already henshin’ed) Build.

I’m always a sucker for a good pose with a determined facial expression right before a transformation.

KR Build interaction post (part3): Misora just makes me emotional, all the tickets for persuade Kazumi! TTATT I wonder if that’s why Sento wanted the money he asked from the minister? for photocopy and make all the tickets (they spend all the night doing it)?! Either way... is beautiful... or im too emotional!! XD
