do you ever just think of how utterly insane seventeen is this year? first, they ended their world tour, had a japanese release shortly after that, their documentary was released, it was their 5th year anniversary this year, their 7th mini album "heng:garae" was released and it sold over a million copies, another jp release a few months later, then a special album release right after their on:tact concert which happened to be on the day of jeonghan's birthday.

we obviously can't forget all of the achievements they've gained this year as well? like, their one of the few k-pop boy groups to have sold over a million copies of their album, their songs have topped for WEEKS on various streaming sites around the world, and many, many more that i can't recall at 5am in the morning.

the 17 collab with pinksweat$, shoutouts from so many artists worldwide...we got director/filmmaker mingyu TWICE as well, for snap shoot and a bit of his video from weverse. speaking of weverse, they're absolutely crazy on there! whenever hoshi comes on, it's a nightmare for all translators (love ya, bud).

i know that carats have suffered so much as well this year. with all of the scandals or whatever going on that pledis hasn't even sorted out yet. i really do hope they get to it before the end of the year. i hate pledis with every fiber of my being but i do have hope that they'll at least try to resolve whatever issue seventeen has because honestly, i'm just so tired of them sitting still when issues like these arise.

not to mention seungkwan getting hurt and having to undergo surgery. i'm really happy that these boys work hard, but i hope they continue to take care of themselves. we'll patiently wait for each on of you to recover. carats aren't disappointed when you aren't able to perform, all we want is the best for you.

2020 has been such a stressful, yet rewarding year for both carats and seventeen, and i'm just really happy because of that. we're starting to work hard to make seventeen shine even brighter, and they're working even harder for us to get the quality content and performances we deserve.

and a message to seventeen: thank you, thank you, thank you so much for existing. you've brought so much joy and hope into carats' lives. the world is a burning pit of flames right now, and you guys are my only reprieve. i hope that together with carats, you continue to shine even brighter. let's walk on the flower road together.
