He wasn’t entirely sure what he’d been expecting to return to. So far inland, away fro the Mystic made his skin crawl. As if being off the water so long dried him up like a sponge. The Captain was tired from riding horseback half the day, his legs ached, his hands had fresh callouses that he would fight against for days to come, and he desperately needed sleep. And then he smelled something heavy and strong as he approached the door to their inn, his head cocked as he pushed through the door and look round for Mia in their suite. He let out a loud sigh, prepared to fight any sort of bath, when she gave him rather firm instruction.
At that he raised his brow, let his tired smile fall across his lips and felt his fingers already working their way up to his vest. “As My Lady commands,” he answered her, undressing as quickly as hims limbs would allow.
Her robe was belted, keeping her present from his view. He needed to relax. He was so tense, so tired, all she wanted to do was make him feel better. He did such a good job on ship and there he’d made her feel so comfortable when she felt so out of her element. She watched him disrobe, the warm smell of roses and steam coiling around them like a hug. Her eyes drifted down his body, mouth watering at the sight of bronzed skin and toned muscle. She reached for him, pushing him gently toward the bath.
“She also commands you to climb in and close your eyes.” she wanted to make this night special. She wanted to make sure he know how she cared for him. Her eyes sparkled with desire, affection. “You look so tired, baby. Were you successful today?”
... My poor followers must be so confused. I go for long periods of time barely posting anything and then all of a sudden it’s a bunch of stockings and foodporn. Whoopsie. Sorry I couldn’t help it. Hammy and I haven’t been on at the same time in a while. Must have funs and torture the Lili while we can! xD

grey eyes watched him closely. focused on the white restraints around his wrist that glued in to the bed he laid on, wondering to herself if they were tight enough. to bruises on the flesh she could see ( jaw, chin, chest ), understanding he must have gotten them from the blast sent off by the rebels. they were the ones who brought him here - to district 13 - they thought it would be wise to grab an inside man to snow’s plan to ask questions, and apparently to some of the rebels from district 5 klaus was very good at his job.
but nothing seemed to be working, he wasn’t talking to anyone. and from what prim had told katniss he wasn’t eating nor drinking. her eyes shifted to the reflective glass to the end of the room, she was met with the cold vision of herself but know beyond the glass stood plutarch, probably haymitch too. plutarch had been the one to asked katniss to go in, to talk to him, to be the MOCKINGJAY and talk him to fighting with the rebels but katniss knew he was only drooling at the idea of fliming a propo with one of snow’s ‘puppets’ on their team.
her stare returned to the man in front on her, was she scared? not of him. when he opened his eyes he would see her .. not katniss, but the mockingjay, the reason for this war ; she was scared of they way he would look at her and yet she waited, and waited ...

Alys was a young and new member of the Order and thus, though it was never EXPLICITLY SPOKEN, it was understood that it wasn’t her place to cut off discussions whenever she wanted to, especially in important meetings such as this. But as she stared at the pale, SMUG faces of the group before her, separated from the Order members by a mere table, it was quite difficult to hold her tongue. She struggled to do so, she truly did, but after twenty minutes of this FARCE, she found herself snorting loudly, drawing many a bewildered eye on her. “I’m sorry,” Alys sent an apologetic to Lupin and Podmore, “But are we really listening to this? They behave as though they have a better CHOICE with You-Know-Who for their kind. Are you aware,” Her SCORNFUL gaze now turned to their ‘guests,’ “ — exactly how You-Know-Who and his supporters see you and your kind?”

There hadn’t been a lot of interest in Alaric’s hastily scrawled flyers, posted here and there around the campus. One guy who couldn’t drive a stick shift. A girl who talked so much and so quickly that Alaric hadn’t been able to stand twenty minutes with her, forget days. A guy with two very nervous Yorkies. How about no?
A cross-country trip was daunting enough without having to endure the company of someone he would cross the room to avoid. Only a few days buffer before he was due to start working for three months as an assistant on a huge project repairing documents from the civil war, the sort of thing that might secure him a place in grad school. Arriving after a week of long-haul hell wouldn’t do much to set the tone. Alaric’s temper was shitty enough.
He was starting to think he should just switch to Craigslist or something, risk a broader range of weirdos, when he’d received another text. They arranged to meet in the cafeteria of Alaric’s building (pure selfishness; he didn’t have time to talk about where might be convenient for the guy, rushing between different things that day, and with one last final in the afternoon).
Had to eat, anyway, so he was there a few minutes early, ordering a couple of sandwiches and a cup of coffee, doing a little last-minute cramming that was completely unnecessary. The sandwiches were barely tasted, just inhaled, basically, and Alaric glanced at the time. Any minute, now.
He looked up, trying to spot someone who looked like they had something on their mind other than eating a pile of sandwiches.
There was one guy; he looked like he was trying to find someone. Vaguely familiar, and after a moment, Alaric realized why; they lived on the same floor, passed each other in the bathrooms or on the stairs from time to time. He was good-looking, though that was something Alaric wasn’t going to let himself think about. Possibly the only thing worse than spending a week on the road with someone he couldn’t stand would be spending it with someone he was attracted to. And who was probably engaged to a girl whose parents owned a yacht club.
He stood up, and made a little wave. “Ah… are you looking for me? About the drive to Cali? I’m Alaric. Ric.” He pointed to the chair. “You live in this dorm, right? I’ve seen you around.”
