▲ - Elijah ;)
{ Symbols Meme }
▲ five time my muse thought about kissing yours
- He spent most days with her, entertaining her more often than Niklaus did by far. He talked to her like a person. Katerina could feel herself falling for him, for the wrong brother, but she couldn’t help it. Elijah was better. She didn’t even know why Niklaus wanted to marry her; he didn’t seem to like her and she could offer him nothing. She thought about kissing Elijah almost every day, though. She wondered if it would be the greatest thing, if he felt the same way, or if it would be the worst thing she could possibly do.
- She went to a masque in Vienna during the height of the 1600s, celebrating the culture and cresting a hundred and fifty years as a vampire. Her life was just beginning, she was experiencing a whole world different from the one she grew up in. There was no chance of recovering her daughter now. She was completely on her own— and there was something freeing and tragic about it all at once. Katherine knew if she stayed sharp, she could continue this way, but even in the drunken ecstasy of the party and the blood of her victims, she saw Elijah in every dark-haired man in a mask. She almost wanted him there, to steal a moment together in the fantasy of the carnival where the world was turned upside down for everyone. But it was just a fleeting dream.
- Hello, Katerina. Her mouth went dry and her body froze in shock. She had hated him for a long time, for ages, yet his stare cut through her. He knew her, maybe better than anyone else did. She sat in that accursed tomb plotting, and again, she thought about his command and his modern suits, how he hadn’t killed her. Thoughts of seducing him crossed her mind, and she banished them as they surfaced.
- She ran again, half a country away. Katherine thought a lot about Klaus, and often about Elijah. Klaus and her were alike in a few ways— one was they didn’t usually do their own dirty work. He sent Elijah after her when he was really trying. Katherine realized one day that she didn’t really hate him, and rather had a burgeoning respect for him as a worthy adversary. It took energy to get the spite going, and she didn’t like wasting her energy. But still, she thought about Elijah in the modern age. If he would find her now, if she could persuade him to her side… if he was like any other man after all. But Katherine thought he wasn’t, that it wouldn’t work if she tried her seduction tactics on him. He would see through it if they weren’t genuine. She remembered how she was almost smitten with him as a human, and some voice in the back of her mind whispered that it wouldn’t have to be disingenuous.
- Theirs was a partnership built on… what? Mutual understanding? It couldn’t be trust, or affection. They had a common goal, almost. She wanted the cure to kill his brother, and he wanted it so no one else could have it, as she understood. It was too powerful a weapon, too unique. They took long car rides together, compelled their way into First Class, shared hotel rooms. She dug into his wardrobe when she didn’t like his tie to get a different one. Katherine began picturing fingering those ties and giving a tug until he was pressed into her, imagining waking him up by slipping under his sheets. But that was probably suicidal.
and the one time they did.
- She watched Elijah kill the man she’d been pumping for information — maybe he was useless, but Katherine also watched Elijah’s knuckles grip the steering wheel a little too tight as they discussed it on the drive back. Katherine turned it over in her mind, and when they got back to the hotel room, she rested on the doorway without coming in, eyeing him. What are you doing? he asked. “Looking at you,” she replied, no closer to figuring him out than she was 500 years ago. But she would never really know unless she tried, if there was something there... She pushed off the doorway and came in, not like a predator, but rather with a question in her eyes. Katerina... She pursed her lips with a hushing sound. They shouldn’t talk. When he didn’t move away the closer she got, she felt encouraged enough to raise a hand to his lapel, and then his cheek, a light touch of her fingertips that made him close his eyes. So sweet. It was more than enough for her to press up on her toes to kiss him— savoring a new experience that felt monumental and sacred in the air between them. His lips were soft and delicate as they moved against hers, and it was the answer to a question Katherine had been asking for centuries.

"So why are we doing this, Auntie Alice?” Alice and Renesmee were seated in cross-legged positions on the ground, holding hands with their eyes closed, with her parents away for their anniversary, the Cullens were watching after Rennie as she continued a rapid growth. “Are you trying to see my future?”

The last time Lia was at any sort of fancy party was when she was six years old, and her mother made her wear a frilly little dress. The whole night she had been bored out of her mind - children were supposed to play, not sit around and listen to adults talk about their boring subjects that she couldn’t keep track of. This time was definitely different. It seemed like most of the town had been invited and Lia was willing to go. Especially when it was the Mikaelsons who were hosting the ball.
The afternoon had been spent mostly getting ready. Lia had picked up a beautiful red and black dress shortly after getting the invitation. She had changed into it only after her hair and make-up were done. She expected to see most of her friends there - but she ingested a bit of vervain since she was well-aware just how many vampires would be there that night. The Mikaelsons were ... intriguing, but definitely dangerous.
After she had finished her look, Lia headed off to the ball. She didn’t exactly have a date, as she was mostly just keeping tabs on everything. So she walked into the Mikaelson manor by herself, and she was stunned at the architectural genius of it all. She found herself wandering, impressed by it. Then she noticed a blonde, with pretty ocean-blue eyes, wearing a stunning green dress that fit her well. Rebekah Mikaelson. Deciding to strike up some sort of conversation, she went over . “You sure know how to throw a ball.”
