This bike game started as a joke, but now I have to win; what have you done to me Lori
I have no idea what I'm doing
More action from this weekend. Dana and I lapped the field together at the Berkeley Streets Crit. Thank you Cal Cycling for hosting such a fun event. (via Timeline Photos - Team Mike’s Bikes)
Help Is On The Way
Baaaabyyy it's cold outside....
(Mis)Adventures!
Yesterday The Creep and I went to the Willow Glen Town Square to look around and we went into the new bike shop that has been being promoted all over the VTA Buses, Mikes Bikes.
We were looking around and we went upstairs to take a look at more bikes and riding outfits and stuff like that.
There were about 7 lined up on one side and there was a poster of a man showing how light the bike on display was and this bike had so many gears and gadgets and I thought to myself "What? No way, can't be as light as my bike with all these extra accessories.." so I picked it up to see for myself and it was as light as mine! Magic!
I set it back down and read the sign above the poster saying something about asking for assistance before touching the bikes.
After I read that, the bike I picked up started to move, in a blink of an eye they all fell. FUCK YOU DOMINO EFFECT.
The floor shook and since we were upstairs I knew the employees would come running to the scene cause it was so loud.
I felt so bad and embarrassed and these bikes were $8,000+ I was scared they would fine me for property damage but they said it's happened before and we slowly made our way out and I can never ever go back in there ever again :(
Later that day we went to the evil dentist where they told me they made a mistake and I don't have a cavity they claimed I had so it was literally a few seconds in the chair of death and we celebrated with foooood!
After that we went to the hells of Eastridge where The Creep's friend worked at Starbucks so I got me a free vanilla bean :D
What a day.
This is a very distinctive blog that can help you installing and preparing for changes on your bike. Whether it's from swapping out parts and components to re-painting, Mike knows what's up.
