I was recently in the Mikhailovsky Castle so here’s some pictures of the bust of Alexander as crown prince that I took

still not sure I like that hairstyle but it was in fashion apparently as grand duke Constantine was rocking it too

Also here’s a miniature portrait of him made around the time of his marriage and an unrelated painting of Apollo with Hyacinth which looked like the former might’ve been modeled after Alexander (this is purely my speculation but I still wanted to share it)

Mikhailovsky (St. Michael's) Castle is a former royal residence in the historic centre of Saint Petersburg. It was built as a residence for Emperor Paul I by architects Vincenzo Brenna and Vasili Bazhenov in 1797-1801. The castle looks different from each side, as the architects used motifs of various architectural styles such as French Classicism, Italian Renaissance and Gothic.

Saint Petersburg. Monument to Peter the Great at Mikhailovsky Castle

The Italian sculptor Bartolomeo Carlo Rastrelli made a model of the monument during the lifetime of Peter I, however, the sculpture was completed only by 1747, when Alessandro Martelli cast it in bronze.
