He’s not usually like this, but I guess that when you keep losing everyone you’ve ever loved you gotta break at some point, at least for a little bit.

It’s ok, Clark. You’ll die too, someday.

God, presentation of this character is long overdue

I’ve had his concept art (middle two images) on my desktop for about a month now, and i finally decided to make a quick fullbody of him, since i’ll be using him in a roleplay soon

This is Tim, he’s a half-elf who suffers from a rare magic disorder half-elves sometimes have, that messes with his future sight power and basically gives him constant flashes of possible future outcomes (often playing into his biggest fears), usually at night (magic is stronger when moon is in the sky), so he barely gets any sleep, hence why he always looks like he’s about to drop dead

he has impressive magical abilities, being able to use a very unique mixture of elven and human magic, but is usually unable to use it due to lack of focus and exhaustion. he can also wield a sword but same story there. while he had the great misfortune of getting the future sight disorder, he on the other hand got an interesting mix of magic, instead of corrupted pure magic, which is more common for half-elves, his magic is basically human magic (fire & water), but he’s able to control it with much more percision, almost as if magic could actually listen to him (meaning it’s a hybrid of elven true magic)

he’s younger than he looks, but his physical and mental exhaustion took it’s toll.

as a half-elf born from a human mother, he’s extremely human-looking, only differences being his red eyes (common feature of half elves), slightly pointy teeth and short and slim posture.

He lives in Dragan which is basically the worst place to live at while being elf-blooded, ‘cause Dragan people are kinda speciesist

i wanted to draw some Miladena characters as kids, so here’s a first batch of requested ones

left to right;

about 6 years old Winter - i love drawing little Winter so much, he was such an angry kid (for very good reasons, mind you) but also i generally enjoy drawing younger versions of him, and older ones too. He changed immensely throughout his life, in design and personality and is just so much fun

a guy who doesn’t have a name yet, but for the time being i lovingly dub him ‘fallen angel knight’. he’s the guy who created the Eclipse Society because he wasn’t pleased with how some criminals could use loopholes to escape justice. he’s probably like 13-14 here?

roughly 8 year old Kristi, who was always adorable and is still adorable.

This character’s design might and probably also will still change at some point, but I wanna post some concept doodles I drew today.

For some reason I just can’t get this one to look like I want them to.

For my own amusement and the amusement of others, I often like to leave their sex ambiguous as well, as it doesn’t really matter with them.) Ethnicity: Sea people (Lives in Velmira - no specific kingdom) Job: torturer, interrogator, assassin, everyone’s worst nightmare and the pain in the ass of the Eclipse society

Venhi feels no empathy and seeks comfort and joy in putting others through physical and mental torture, the severity of which depends on whatever they feel like doing at the time. Their work ranges from near-harmless pranks (that involve at least some pain or fear), to extreme horror. They are a master of stealth and possess seemingly unlimited knowledge on various ways of torture, some stemming from their native lands, others they picked up along the way across Velmira. In their search for new ways to bring up horror in others, they learned a lot about poisons and various effects they have on people, medicine, and how to keep someone alive while putting them through severe agony, and available martial arts, to be able to take down their target, yet stay unnoticed if they wished to.

Although most of their jobs don’t require killing, they are not unskilled in that craft either. Being of the sea people, they were raised as a pirate, and violence comes natural for them.

Although their ability to study things that interest them implies that they are a very intelligent person, Venhi shows little interest in learning about most other things, and their conversation topics tend to be quite limited.

They are an extremely vengeful person and don’t take kindly to insults or assaults. The Eclipse Society is not fond of them as a person, but they realize that with their expertise, Venhi is a very useful and valuable member. Venhi always keeps an oddly relaxed and calm demeanour, which in turn only makes them so much more intense and unsettling. Most members of Eclipse have joined due to their moral standpoints and desires, and yet Venhi has none of their own and is only in it for the thrill, which puts many members off. At one point, a member had tried to assassinate Venhi, but only managed to land them a non-mortal wound. Soon after recovery, Venhi sought out their attacker, locked him up and kept him alive for months, using him as a test subject, all in the name of revenge.

Because of their nearly perverse attitude when it came to torture, and them stirring trouble and unease in the Eclipse headquarters, a few new rules have been established to keep the society at peace;

Talking about the details of your job is not allowed

If you have a bone to pick with a fellow member, take it outside.

You are allowed to hire a member to perform a job on another member, however it must be strictly separated from the society’s business.

My lore: Zian

Zian are Lianese elves

they are very small in posture - smaller than psotniki - and their body is covered in fur, as they live in a cold climate. Men and women look very similar, and tend to wear their hair differently for easier distinction.

their hands have paw pads, while their feet resemble those of a rabbit, and have no paw pads.

Both their fur and skin colour can range from black, to white, to grey, to brown, and their fur and hair can also be blond or even red. Their eyes are always blue.

Zian live in a world where the abstract being of magic resides outside living beings (Lian), which is a drastic change from Miladena, Ashén and Önn, where magic resides in living beings.

Like the Lianese people learned to communicate with magic and use it through writing and signs, the Zian learned to whisper to it, and have developed a language that magic can understand, however they are not willing to share this knowledge with anyone.

Zian tend live away from human settlements, farther to the north, but it’s not unusual for some to move in to human towns. Humans are wary of them because the two species haven’t had much contact throughout history and neither the elves nor the humans are willing to fully trust the other, but they can still manage to live together in peace.

Zian are distantly related to orcs and elves of Miladena. Their magical nature and small posture resembles psotniki, however they tend to be more withdrawn, like orcs.

Unlike psotniki (and like orcs), they pick a partner they stick with for their entire life, and even if they struggle, it happens very rarely for them to ‘divorce’. One side of the pair is willing to put themselves in great danger to protect the other, and they are always willing to fight for their partner. The job of protection is not reserved for males, as sometimes females are stronger, depending entirely on the couple (in Jin-Ju and Seok’s case, Seok is the one that can handle herself better in physical fight, while Jin-Ju is better at communicating with magic).

Regarding them as elves, the zian fall somewhere between psotniki and lowland elves when it comes to intelligence. They are unable to fully grasp the human way of logical thinking, like a psotnik could if one cared to, but they aren’t leaning as much into the primal way of thinking as lowland elves.

They are capable of reaching a certain level of intelligence and can be good conservationists with humans, both casually and on higher levels, however they can’t comprehend complicated logic that one would find in advanced science, math, physics and such. They are, however, experts on magic, hunting and survivalism.

Dragon 1 and 22

1: What’s your OC’s biggest insecurity and how would they react if someone pointed it out to them?

Death is any dragon’s biggest insecurity, and Dragon with the capital D is no exception.Dragon fears death more than anything, but that doesn’t stop him from being an utter asshole to everyone, though when someone shows they could overpower him easily, he becomes submissive to them, an example of that is Kristi, who he fears, and if he was a free dragon, he would’ve flown miles away, but he’s not allowed to leave Bjoern’s side.

If people pointed his mortality out, he would’ve reacted with anger, but also caution, mostly depending on who he’d be dealing with. If it was Bjoern, he would talk down to him like trash, but if it was Kristi, he would withdraw and play lowly in order to save his skin.

22: How does your OC usually show affection? Are they openly romantic or more restricted with their affectionate emotions?

Dragon is basically a bitter old curmudgeon. I think he’s about two centuries old and pretty much hates everyone around him, so showing affection to anyone he knows is far out of the question. He’s a resentful creature who grew up angry and hateful, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t even know how to treat anyone nicely. Hunter is partially to blame for this, because he raised him harshly and beat him occasionally if Dragon acted up, which he did often, because he hated Hunter for seeing his mortality, even though it was Hunter who saved him from death. Dragon just grew to hate the whole bloodline of Hunter & everyone associated with them.
