XD I’m pretty sure Flyboy and I RPed something similar at some point too. At the very least I headcanon that these two playfight all the time.

So the most incredible and amazing thing happened tonight

I’m farting around in Final Fantasy XIV as I’m prone to do, right? Running through North Shroud. Now, one of my favorite things to do in the game is to look at the names of everyone around me cuz there’s so many amusing little gems.

And then I run past someone named Maurice Needlemouse.

I freeze right there on the path. Two incredibly obscure names connected to Sonic the Hedgehog. That can NOT be a coincidence. My little geek heart fires into overdrive and I send them a whisper asking if they’d intentionally named themself after Sonic.

“You know it”

omfg that was so amazing I was geeking out by that point because again the obscurity not many people know about those names so I’m just grinning over this.

And then someone named Miles Prower comes running up.

I’m laughing my ass off over this and absolutely loving the fact I’ve just encountered a group of Sonic nerds in the middle of Eorzea. Another friend from their FC joins us and we’re chatting and doing dance emotes and such. I mention how Metal Sonic is my favorite character and how I used to roleplay as him.

“I think I know who you are.” one of them says.

What. Oh come on, I’m thinking. I may have been somewhat known in the Sonic community, what, a decade ago? But I’m not the only person around obsessed with Metal Sonic and I’d be kidding myself to say I’m that strongly associated to him for it

“Jamie?”

“I’m Tailsy!”

... ... ...

I’ve just managed to encounter @miles-electric , @lazlo-pizzazzlo and I’m assuming Maurice was you @springs-n-rings ?? In FFXIV. On my own server. Without any of us realizing who we were.

What are the fucking odds sdjgbsdk my mind is completely blown right now hahaha XD SERIOUSLY OF ALL THE DIFFERENT SERVERS AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY I’M JUST... MY BRAIN IS FULL OF FUCK

Of course then I had to make an ass of myself and run off because Odin was up. Whoops c.c;

Yep! I play primarily on the European servers because that’s where several friends I play with regularly are but I could play on the US ones too =O Even though I’d have to unlock all my skins and stuff again jkfbkj
