Prefacing this by saying that I’m still trying read through all the old Milestone series to get a better feel for the universe as a whole.

Since the next volume of Earth-M’s Static is titled “Defenders of Dakota”, I’m really hoping we get at least a lead in to other Milestone heroes outside the big four (Static, Icon, Hardware, and Blood Syndicate). Characters from Shadow Cabinet or Kobalt, or from the short lived Heroes book.

We know it’s gonna be a story about the Meta-Breed and Ebon, along with other aspects from the 2000s show that appeared throughout volume one, so there’s probably going to be a couple more of the characters from that series coming back for the beginnings of a larger team. I’m hype for the issues to start coming out.

Comic book haul!!

Every time i go to the comic book store, i buy more and more issues....

why is nobody talking about static:season one? it's raw asl. i love the raw emotions of it. i feel like the same thing that happened to virgil could happen to me since i'm also a black teenage male. plus this book is being written by a black author as well?? like. not only do i feel the black experience but it's comforting to know that it's written by someone who could understand where i'm coming from. i'm reading about someone + his peers who talk like me, know the black experience etc. anyways check out these cool panels.
