okay guys so i was rewatching the t2 amane vd just to watch es and amane argue cuz its funny, but i think es got his facts wrong on purpose. ofc its still childish or whatever but i noticed something that amane said earlier in the vd, she says "there are more important things than the law".

this intrigues me as es remembers most things that the prisoners say and refers back to it often, why would this be any different? es seems pretty smart and has read up on multiple laws and rules which makes me doubt that he would say something so wrong openly.

es was stating that their authority / age is more important than the law here. they are still older than amane and thats the fact.

if amane ever checks it or whatever, es can just deflect it with this

From the recent interrogation question, I am wondering if it was John or Mikoto who answered by stabbing the paper. I am leaning towards John. I have no doubt that this question likely could have triggered Mikoto to switch, as it seems being believed to be a murderer has put a huge stress on Mikoto, so much so that John said in T2 VD that Mikoto may be trying to “disappear” because of it. I believe these questions about his murder or victims caused that switch to John. Also, from the stabbing of the paper I really get a sense of anger, frustration, an inability to cope with the emotions that surface. I think John does not feel guilty for the victim(s?), and is angered by us asking such questions. Perhaps he is thinking something like, “how could you even ask? I was protecting boku! They deserved it.” Then again, I am not entirely sure. This is all just me rambling about my observations and thoughts, so I could be wrong. Perhaps this question brought up memories, albeit likely faint ones, and caused a strong emotional response. Thus leading to John’s feverish stabbing of the paper. I’m not sure! Just my thoughts. No matter the true meaning behind it, I do feel bad for John and Mikoto. It’s obviously a very painful topic.

Kazui Thoughts

So I saw this post https://www.tumblr.com/plan-3-tmars/726192045515014144/okay-i-know-i-preach-about-voting-however-you-want and would like to share my thoughts! I like op’s thoughts and agree with them, just wanted to add some as well!

For me, Kazui asking to be freed from the lies is him asking Es to find the truth. For Kazui to finally be known. For his “sins” to be known, and his lies to come clean to Es. For Es to truly know.

Kazui doesn’t want to live in lies anymore, he wants someone to know his “sins” and know his lies.

He wants to know if he is still accepted. (At least I think so)

He isn’t asking for forgiveness, just someone to see. Of course, he deserves forgiveness though. :)

Kazui, I hope to see the truth in your next song! I hope you will be freed from the lies.

I want him to finally to break free from the shackles holding him down.

To have someone see him.

To be understood.

To be known.

That’s what I think at least.
