I would like to state that the report itself does not state that Muu Doesn't Know that the bullying is occurring:

The girl does not succumb, nor does she cry and apologize, and this causes the bullying to escalate. Mu gives no orders. She does not bring up the girl in conversation. Mu understood, however, that anyone who rebels against her must fall, and that she was undoubtedly the center of the universe

Not only that, but the idea she does actively contradicts both Pain:

And yes I've read the VDs and just because Muu "known liar" Kusonoki who plays victim to avoid accountability says that Rei struck first doesn't mean that she doesn't understand what she did previously is bad. Purely that she sees herself as the clear victim in the scenario.

Her lyrics as well reflects her understanding of the scenario at hand.

These lines are taken from the Blackboard at the End of After Pain (the Blackboard at the start of After Pain and at the end of After Pain are for different people, the first one is for Muu, the second is for Rei.)

The lyrics of Pain reflect words that Muu either said directly to Rei, or words that she actively Heard and Permitted. She does, in fact, understand bullying as something "bad."

M: No matter the circumstances, it’s always the bullies who are in the wrong! Isn’t that obvious? Warden-san, you’re so smart, but you don’t even know things like that? Plus, just because people you know start shit behind your back doesn't mean you can't stop it, and we know that Muu is aware of the power she does hold over others in her social circle:

She claims to be all knowing in one scenario because she believes she deserves everything, but then the moment anyone disagrees with her she plays victim and claims that she couldn't of held any sort of agency in her actions. This is a known pattern of hers that we saw it in Trial 1-Trial 2 and now she's back in Trial 1.

This doesn't mean she's 100% evil teenage girl or whatever, it doesn't, but she really did mean it when she harmed and Murdered Rei the way she did. Denying it is just allowing her to continue to escape accountability for her actions.

Analysis: Why I think Fuuta was actually wrong to make his post about the university professor in Bring It On

I've been thinking a lot about this sort of belief that Fuuta only really went wrong in the case of Miss Magic/Killcheroy and it got me to consider the other targets in Bring It On.

In particular, I was curious about how people viewed the second case (Rypirotes). Compared to the other subjects, this one had a clear victim and a much more serious offense. The university professor committed sexual harassment which definitely calls for some sort of action.

I made a Twitter poll asking if Fuuta was justified in making his tweet outting the university professor for sexual harassment and the overwhelming majority (78.4%) said yes.

However, I don't agree with Fuuta making the post and I'll explain why:

Fuuta taking a photo of the scene is represented by 3 different texts appearing in front of him. "SHUTTER", "chance", and "盗撮".

Wait... "chance"? To me, "chance" makes it sound like Fuuta sees this as an opportunity, rather than as something genuinely horrible.

Even worse, the kanji that appears here is specifically used to describe non-consensual photography like upskirt shots and peeping photos. They've directly correlated Fuuta taking a photo of the situation as something perverse and violating.

Like... just think about it. Fuuta took a photo of a woman in an incredibly vulnerable situation and put it on the internet for everyone to look at, without ever getting her consent.

As a man, Fuuta has more social power to directly intervene and stop the harassment... We also know he's a coward. Even so, couldn't he have tried reporting it to other authorities at the university? Or at least checked to see if that woman was okay?

We can infer that Fuuta never directly did anything because he was walking the university hallways at 12:25, witnessed the scene and left (we see him leave!!), made a tweet at 12:46, posted the photo at 12:58, and was checking the post at 15:01 (?) from his seat in class.

In his post, Fuuta asks for the others to report this to the university. Why didn't Fuuta do it himself?

Instead, one of the first things he does is tweet "I found a bad guy". He isn't horrified this is happening, he's EXCITED that he gets to broadcast it.

Fuuta and the repliers don't actually care about the wellbeing of the woman. No one expresses real concern for her, they just want a bad guy to take down.

As Es says in Fuuta's T2 VD, this is a game—entertainment—to them.

I also want to point out this comment in particular, because it shows that Fuuta didn't even blur her face out!!!

There's an irony in that by publicly calling out the professor for violating a woman's boundaries and consent, Fuuta's violated those very same things.

It's the only "fight" in Bring It On with a real tangible victim but she's treated as insignificant.

In conclusion, I don't think Fuuta was right to make that post because he never bothered to truly help the victim. The post only further violated her boundaries to serve Fuuta's own selfish interests.

It's easy to get swept up in the desire for retribution and miss that there are real people that were—and continue to be—hurt.

I'm not sure about why Yuno cut her hair, but it might be for mourning. Some people do that. (Yuno and Mahiru could be considered friends, couldn't they?)

One thing's for sure, she looks great with short hair, even if I'll miss that pretty ponytail of hers.

Fuuta is definitely recruited into the cult. It's screaming in your face. There's a really good post by @/snakes-and-fluff about how he needs a purpose, and Amane clearly, with her cultish and extremely strong beliefs, managed to rope Fuuta in it.

Speaking of Fuuta, he definitely was the one to directly kill Shidou. There's no way Amane could've done it by herself, but Fuuta definitely could. Shidou wouldn't have fought back since duh, he's suicidal + has a soft spot for children. He still sees Fuuta as someone to look after, and knowing Amane is the one behind this, he wouldn't fight back past some instinctual need to live.

With Shidou gone, obviously Mahiru would lose medical care and die. Haruka also wouldn't have any obstructions, the system doesn't protect him from himself unfortunately, and Shidou can't give medical care.

Looks like the guilty prisoners this time around get a headpiece. Muu seems to be wearing a beekeeper's veil with brambles, which is interesting.

She def got the most drip other than Yuno, keep slaying queens <3 I love you/plat

I think the veil ties into her queen bee symbolism. A queen bee who's obstructed from her subjects. She has no influence and no external protection. It basically removes her power as a queen bee.

The brambles I'm less sure, but it *might* be a reference to Jesus' crown of thorns. The "king/queen" being sent to the crucifix. (Not sure abt this bc I'm not familliar with much literature. This is probably a huge stretch.)

And just like Jesus she did nothing wrong 💔 Just a bit of compliance with an already corrupt system yk.... free my girl Muu she doesn't deserve this 💔💔💔 (Yes I'm a Muu apologist now shhhh)

I don't have much to say about Kazui and Mikoto. All I know is that they look depressed.(/lh)

I sure hope we get Midokoto this trial though. Since John's confirmed to be a new alter I need to know who the first alter is. I don't think John is gone but I just. Yk. Wanna know.

Like I get that Amane killed Shidou and stuff but like can we instead just UNDERSTAND her instead of blatantly painting her as a physcopath that doesnt care for anyone

CUZ NO, AMANE IS NOT A PHYSCOPATH WHO CARES FOR NO ONE. SHE IS A CHILD. YES, YOU HEARD ME. A CHILD.

NO, I AM NOT JUSTIFYING HER ACTIONS NOR AM I EXCUSING HER ACTIONS BECAUSE OF HER AGE BUT ITS THE FACT THAT SHE IS A CHILD WHOSE BRAIN IS STILL DEVELOPING THATS IMPORTANT. She SAW that Fuuta was in a LOT of pain (mentally and physically) and OFFERED him a solution as a way to lessen his suffering. The said solution (cult) helped her with her own struggles WHICH IS WHY SHE GOT FUUTA IN HER CULT. AMANE WANTS TO HELP FUUTA, NOT MAKE HIM WORSE.

Should I also mention that BECAUSE OF THE VERDICT OF THE FIRST TRIAL, Amane began to indulge MORE into her cults teaching AS A COPING MECHANISM since the cult is THE ONLY THING SHE KNOWS???

"Amane holds no remorse in killing Shidou!" Im sorry but do you need other people to point out EVERYTHING for you? EVEN IF IT WASN'T SHOWN DIRECTLY, IT WAS IMPLIED THAT SHE WANTED SOMEONE TO STOP HIM FROM HEALING OTHERS. SHE YELLED AT ES SAYING SHE GAVE THEM WARNINGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. SHE WANTED SOMEONE TO STOP HER FROM DOING WHAT SHE WAS GONNA DO but she had to follow the cults teaching because she introcidricated to.

Amane isnt careless, she's just a child who is a victim of a cults teaching. She does things that were taught are right, not what she thinks are right.

Sorry for being really passive aggressive in this post. It just really infruriates me to see Amane so dehumanized and mischaracterized in the fandom. She is so well written, it makes me sad to see ppl treat her like something shes not.

We as milgramers should remember that the prisoners are all morally grey. Theyre not pure innocent nor are they purely evil, theyre human. Humans arent perfect, so is it really shocking when a character have flaws when they are supposed to represent actual human beings?

TLDR; Amane is NOT a careless physcopath. She is a child who uses her cult teachings as a coping mechanism.

I’m in some turmoil as I expected I would be for Trial 3.

(I miss you Haruka and Shidou… and Mahiru you didn’t deserve that)

But one thing I believe is that: MILGRAM was never planned or meant to have a “good ending.”

MILGRAM as a prison system is corrupt. The prisoners were all struggling in their own ways. MILGRAM was bound to exploit them.

I feel no matter how we voted someone, somehow, would get hurt. Maybe less people would die if we voted differently, maybe more would if we voted another way, but there was bound to be at least one person hurt in the process. At least that’s what I think. That person could be the prisoners or perhaps even Es.

But I know for a fact, as I’m sure many of you do, MILGRAM is an abusive system and it NEVER intended to help anyone.

So I don’t think it ever could’ve ended well.
