“My parents used to live right next to the Greenburg’s family in Evergreen Harbor and inevitably they all became close friends. If we weren’t visiting our neighbours we were on the road for my mom’s job. When i was 9 we stopped in Willow Creek, we had been there before but it was the first time that the Goths commissioned my mother. While she was working and my dad helped, i wondered through the block,big fancy buildings everywhere except for that one. Next to Ophelia Villa there was a rundown old house,or what was left of it anyway. I was 9 and bored out of my mind,so you can guess what silly little me did. I entered. Personally wouldn’t raccomend that house to someone allergic to dust,actually scratch that, i wouldn’t raccomend it to anyone. Something caught my attention in that sea of dust,it was a glass urn, a dim sunray was making it shine a hundreds of tiny rainbows around the room- What!? What do you mean i’m boring you? Ugh! Ok,fine,I’ll cut it short. Back to the story, i grabbed it and the damn thing slipped out of my hands. Nothing bad happened after it! Ah,joking, my parents had to leave Evergreen Harbor and i basically got adopted by Mary and Blossom. I lived the rest of my life with them,helping out however i could, but Portsmouth Promenade didn’t feel like my home, you know? I needed something different,something that could be mine. So i worked as a barista to save some money and move out. I’ve left around San Myshuno (and posted on simstagram) some flyers hoping to find a place to stay, but the city is so expensive i had to find another job. Why not pick up something i’m good at,after all my aunts always said i’ve got a green thumb.So i became a gardener. Oh yeah,i see ghosts sometimes”

Why did her parents leave? Let’s just say some shady business. The real estate agencies world can be brutal i guess

First ghost she ever saw was a little blue blob floating around her home when she was 10

She got scared and proceeded to cry for the whole night

The ghost continued to show up every night ,so Wilder got used to it and ended up talking with it. It took a piece of her soul or something,she doesn’t remember that well

She’s sure she got cursed by that glass urn

Growing up she got more into the supernatural and even meddled into allegedly vampires’ businesses

Dream job is being a Paranormal investigator but some ghost guy named Guidry said she wasn’t ready yet

Always in a hurry (most of the time because she slept until last minute) and it even reflects on her handwriting,fashion and decor,according to Wilder it’s “messy but in a totally wanted kind of way,not because i’m running 2 hours late with only coffee and an hershey’s kiss in my body”

Tries her best to go to work on time,tho!

Likes to meet new people and rarely disklikes someone at first sight

Talks a lot

Still has to get used to the city life,it moves way too fast,but at least clubs are way more fun

Hey, have you already chosen the contestants for your bc? If so, could we know who they are?

The contestants have been chosen, yes! I sent them all a DM and am currently awaiting for the sims to come to me. I was planning on making a post that has all the contestants in it but that might have to wait until after the weekend since I'll be away from my PC all weekend. However if people are curious as to who is chosen I can put it here in advance:

I used a randomizer for the entries, since I wanted to be far to all who entered and play it as if it was a lottery to get an apartment (since a lot of apartments in NYC are run in the same way, personal experience ;o;)

That being said, I love this concept a lot and may run another one in the future. Or if anyone wants to test it out, I have no qualms! I'll even give the tray files for the lot I made specifically for this challenge, though it has minimal CC. At the moment I'm in the middle of setting up the apartments and making a post on the rules, so stay tuned!

hello again ~ finalizing traits and things for the bc challenge submission and curious if the 'mischievous' custom trait (by kiarasims on the list you linked) counts as a negative trait ?

I consider that a negative trait! Iirc that makes the sim more prone to mischievous actions right? If so then that’s a-okay for me as a negative trait. Plus it could add drama to the whole thing. c:

Regarding your millennial complex BC, if someone leaves does that mean another sim gets to live there or?

You know, I really didn’t think of that. Technically, that makes sense considering it’s an apartment complex that would get more people once they leave…. I’ll have to think on that as a possibility!

I say if I do decide to go with that, I’ll only be taking new characters from those who already entered. I may also limit the amount of CC people can do if I ever do this again because I’m just now realizing how much CC I got from not only this challenge but before I even started it lol. I suppose I’ll see about this if/when someone gets eliminated.

Going to make u a sim later today! This is a reminder to me as well bc I have a small brain and just love to put so much like of work on myself and forget to do things I said I’ll do 😭 super excited overall and how things will go!!!

Hi! Was wondering if sim entries for your bc challenge needs to be brand new sims? I have some sims I made for random edits that I want to give a purpose to hehe

Uhhhh that’s more dependent on you? If you have a sim you’d like to use from an edit then go ahead, I just say make sure you’re following the rules for making your character still. As long as you can still use the resources posted on the main page of the challenge, we should be good.
