YOU GUYS, Tubi has all 8 seasons of my Saturday morning childhood favorite, Garfield and Friends.
Guess what I'll be showing C this weekend.
Me at 10pm: Gotta sleep so I can work 11 hours tomorrow.
Me at 4am:
“You’re impossibly fast—and strong.” Alex tries to keep his voice steady. He knows Henry’s right behind him, but the body heat he normally expects from someone standing that close is missing in a way that sends a shiver down his spine. “Your skin is pale white and ice cold. Your eyes change color, and sometimes you speak like… like you’re from a different time. You never eat anything. You don’t go into the sunlight.”
Henry doesn’t respond, but Alex knows he’s still there. Alex takes a breath and makes himself keep going, because his mind won’t stop whirring until he gets all the answers.
“How old are you?” he asks.
There’s a shorter pause than Alex expects before Henry replies, “Seventeen.”
Alex nods, then swallows. “How long have you been seventeen?”
This time, Henry does hesitate.
Finally, he says, “A while.”
This is so funny:
It's been ~20 years of this
and they're still bitching about us "killing" things everyone agreed to like back when we could afford things.
I mean, I think they've come to terms with the fact we can't afford the damned house to begin with, but holy shit lol. Twenty years of serial killing whole industries.
hey any other old people remember when the internet was good
honestly kind of funny to be stuck at my fancy administrative job for one of the richest cities in Texas anxiously checking the weather because I didn't realize it was gonna rain today and so I didn't set out my rain buckets at home to catch the water under the main roof leak.
