Heh. No kidding
Let's see graduate high school at 18, +4 years of uni, +3 (ish?)years working casual/contract jobs, +3 years working full time saving frantically for a home deposit, +1-2 more years to settle in and actually conceive the child. And this is a very conservative estimate. How were we supposed to hit these milestones sooner?!
Why wouldn't you?
This is a reaction to the excessive gendered marketing of children's toys- why buy the 'girly pink' scooter or the 'boyish blue' scooter when you can get a red one every kid can enjoy?
As the boomer grandparents keep telling us they have lives and priorities and already put in their time raising us years ago they're done with kids now
Well yeah it's antibacterial, antiseptic and much cheaper than children's vitamins but mostly it's free and why would I buy something I don't have to (if i lived in the US without mat leave it would be a different story I'm sure... 😕)
