Anon-Nemesis - Here's an interesting question for you. Azula VS Millennium Dragon in an Agni Kai. I know Azula would win because of her unique fire and skills, and, well, the fact that she's Azula the protagonist of the story. So I suppose the real question is how well would her opponent do against her. About as well as Ozai did? His condensed fire is a trick I don't remember Azula replicating. The tough part is we only have Sokka as a middleman to compare them. lol, poor Sokka.

Anyways, Azula’s gold fire will eventually be shown to also hold some useful defensive potential, akin to condensed fire. But that Azula doesn’t use condensed fire a lot doesn’t mean she can’t use it. Both her and Zuko can recognize it when the Millennium Dragon uses it because, while it’s a complex technique, it’s well known anyhow.
Anyways, as we’re talking about Agni Kais, these fights are about burning the opponent. For one thing, Azula is more agile than the Millennium Dragon, for another, he’s a lot bigger than she is. She has a much better chance at burning him than he does at burning her. Something else to bring up… this girl has a thing for bending her opponent’s fire right back at them. Not that the Millennium Dragon can’t do the same thing, which would get them into a funny and repetitive cycle, but if Azula does this at a point where the Millennium Dragon isn’t quick enough to defend himself, it’s game over for him.
I do believe he’d last for a while, he’s no wimp and he’d be able to defend well against her with condensed fire, but Azula is waaaay sneaky and quite likely to find every potential weakness in the Millennium Dragon worth taking advantage of (just gotta remember the way she analyzes that girl in the Kuai Ball game… imagine her doing that to the Millennium Dragon).
Anyways, yes, Azula would win. She wouldn’t burn him to a crisp, no, but she’d figure her way around his defensive fire, likely by sort-of stealing it and using it against him.
