Voluminous A Million Lashes Mascara Review
Voluminous A Million Lashes mascara is one that I bought, as usual, on a whim. I had heard a few reviews on it, most of which were good, and most of which did not mention the biggest issue that I have with this mascara.
This mascara does make my lashes look beyond amazing; they look lengthened, voluminized, and separated. The look of this mascara, all in all, is really good. The issue that I have with this is that it is the flakiest mascara I have ever used. Within a couple hours the tops of my cheeks and under my eyes are covered in little black flakes. I have stuck with this mascara through the whole tube, despite it's flakiness, just because the look was so nice, but I will not be repurchasing.
Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes Review
This review was requested by "fearlessbellacinderella".
Loreal's Voluminous line has always claimed to create nice thick and "voluminous" lashes, hence the name. I used to use the original Voluminous a long time ago. I can't remember much about it, so I won't make any claims.
I recently bought this mascara in waterproof from Winners as I needed a mascara to swipe on underneath my regular mascara. (Waterproof mascara in a thin coat helps hold curl in your lashes. Check my "Keeping Your Lashes Curled!" post if you're interested) Even though I did not buy this mascara to be my go to mascara, I tried it alone with two coats to see how voluminous it could really be.
My lashes are pretty long on their own and tend to get clumpy when I use a volumizing mascara. This mascara is really great against clumping. It is very defining and separates the lashes quite well. The issue is, it doesn't do what it claims to do. I got NO volume from this mascara. Like none, whatsoever. It just defined my lashes and caught all the little ones, but did not add volume in the slightest. So if you're looking for volume, this mascara is probably not the one for you.
On the plus side, Loreal claims a "no mess" wand with this mascara. When you pull the wand from the tube, you won't have any excess on the tip. It does this very well. I wish all mascara's had this feature since it's nice and clean!
Overall, this mascara is really nice for defining your lashes and getting every little lash but it is not good for volume. Obviously, my opinion my not hold true for everyone, but I really don't see how this particular brush can create a lot of volume. I hope this is helpful in your hunt for mascara! Thank you "fearlessbellacinderella" for the request!
