I was feeling a little lonely today, so I decided to go visit someplace familiar for a solo walk. I visited Burlington’s Mill Pond Reservoir and Conservation Area. I grew up nearby and this 200+ acre/80+ hectare (consisting of 140 acres of Town owned conservation land surrounding another 60 or 80 acres of Water Department and Edison land where the high tension wires run) property was my playground, I’d visit a few times per week. I never appreciated as a kid what a gorgeous property it is. It is a real gem.
