Ship It

What made you ship it? man it was so long ago that i don't remember what exactly made me start shipping it? but definitely a huge part of it was the way they interacted, they really did have genuine chemistry and they just complimented each other so well as characters and so cute idk like they were just meant to be together...

What are your favorite things about the ship? oh this is hard to put into words…the contrast between them and the backgrounds they come from (Wolfwood’s rough life growing up an orphan and rigorous training under Chapel vs. Milly being part of a huge family which she loves and holds very important) and personalities yet they are both very sweet, caring, protective, and feel very obligated to help people in need (how they do manifests differently in both of them tho). and they kind of complete each other in a way if that makes sense? like i immediately thought of what Wolfwood said about Milly in ep. 11: “She does everything I can’t, like it’s no big deal at all. It’s really irritating.” Milly wears her heart on her sleeve and Wolfwood keeps his heart detached from what he does. kind of bringing balance to each other, Wolfwood learning to open himself up more to others and Milly learning to not give herself so freely to others to the point she is hurt. idk if i’m explaining that clearly. but i’m such a sap for relationships like this tho where the characters bring a balance to each other that they didn’t realize they were missing yknow

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? this is a severely underappreciated ship especially for one that is pretty explicitly canon???????? not all m/f couples are forced comphet ffs
