Put your faith in what you most believe in || Charlie and Milo
Charlie heard voices above her, worried voices of her parents and quiet questions asked by her baby brother and she tried badly to move but she couldn’t. Her body betrayed her in that exact moment. Blonde girl heard her father’s voice telling their family everything was going to be ok and Charlotte wanted to believe him. Patrick didn’t finish his sentence when Charlie’s heart decided to stop beating and she heard shouting of Patrick and Teresa, her heart broke at the cry of little Michael who was constantly repeating her name. Screams of her family was the last what she heard and before she went unconcious blonde girl was sure she would meet her biological mother.
Annoying beeping woke Charlie up and she lazely opened her eyes to find out she was in hospital bed. ❝ It wasn’t dream. ❞ She said grogily and someone who was holding her hand stood up instantly. ❝ You scared us. ❞ Patrick said and she smiled weakly at her father. ❝ Sorry. ❞ Piano player said quietly trying to smile. With this smile she wanted to say she was ok, she survived, she was going to live and annoy Patrick like she used to. Patrick excused her for a moment to call Teresa and Mike, he wanted to make sure his wife and son was aware of Charlie’s state.
❝ Mom and Mike will be here soon. ❞ He said her smiling. ❝ No more driving for you... Ever. ❞ He said half jokingly. Charlie rolled eyes but didn’t ask any question. Her eyelids felt heavy and she fell asleep before Teresa and Mike came to visit her.
Second time she woke up Mike was peacfully asleep next to her, his little arm wrapped tightly around her middle. Both parents on both her side watching her closely ready to jump to protect their kids. She smiled at them happily. They talked a little about some little things, mostly about getting Charlie out of hospital, somewhere during this talk she fell asleep again.
Third time she woke up was to meet familiar blue eyes of her boyfriend. ❝ Hey handsome.❞ She said quietly smiling at Milo with her special smile, reserved only for him. ❝ Stupid thing with this car accident. ❞ She chuckled. ❝ Dad said I’m not allowed to drive… Never. ❞ She rolled eyes and went quiet for a moment. ❝ Thankfully at least at the beginning of school year you can be my driver, right? ❞ Charlie asked Milo with raised eyebrow. ❝ I still can’t believe we are seniors this year! ❞ she said excited.
