Part 2. Gosh this is a long sonata. Beethoven's electro-acoustic work can be so involved.
One thing I always admired about Milton Babbitt was the sense of humor he seemed to carry with him throughout his life. While creating serious (and sometimes seriously wacky) music, he remembered not to take himself too seriously, something greatly lacking in so many self-important artists these days.
