So much for my airbnb but I hope for the best.

I was supposed to rent one of the rooms out for my BBL surgery. It was supposed to look over the water but this ended up happening. I hope that everyone who was effected by this disaster gets thur everything during these hard times. Its shocking to know that the building itself was only 40 years young. And for this to happen when hard workers who made this condo there home when they are at the most vulnerable.

I cant even imagine what family and friends are thinking about. Not only we just got thur a pandemic together but now to have lost there home and family members. I can't even fathom the thought.

Today's post is a spotlight on my private collection. It's always interesting to discover an artist whose work looks very similar to an artist that I personally collect. The first image is by the Beijing artist Lu Xinjian. The work examines city structures under the forces of globalization. The second photo is a Chinese artist from my personal collection, named Mi Mai, whose work is an ink-jet print from his Random series. In the spirit of John Cage, he creates works that question how much control the artist needs to have over his own art. He's developed sophisticated programs that create random agglomerations of pixels.
