A sigh leaves your lips as you lean back in the plush comfort of your chair. Your brain was swirling with all the things you’d been forced to study that afternoon. You frowned as you looked out the window to see a dull rainy day, what a terrible Valentine’s Day it was indeed.

At least, that was so until you’d heard the rowdy clattering of a very familiar pair of boots bustling into your study. There was a bright smule on Polnareff’s chubby cheeks as he held a loosely tied assortment of muddy wildflowers in his hands. 

“Happy Valentine’s Day, princess!” 

Perhaps, that was when you’d begun to love the rainy days. Because even on such grey and dark nights, you had the warmth of Polnareff’s smile to rival the sun. You still have those wildflowers, they are lovingly preserved in your diary.

💙 - What is their perfect date?

Pol is someone who enjoys living in the moment and it reflects a lot in his dating style. Quiet nights in, while appreciated and needed sometimes, are a rarity; he wants to see and experience all that he can with you, wide-eyed wonder and breathless laughter as the two of you enjoy your youth. For the most part, he’s spontaneous, doing what he feels is the best option at the time.

With this being said, he loves dates that will get your adrenaline pumping. A day spent at an amusement park taking in all the sights, sounds, smells, and people, is ideal for him. Not only does he get to have the time of his life with the one he adores, he an also watch you as you let go of your inhibitions. 

Having you scream at the top of your lungs as you plunge down the first hill of a coaster; laughing like a fool with him as he attempts to win you a prize; trying out different foods and pretending you’re critics; the moments of rest between the fun, your hand in his and your head resting on his shoulder as you sit together on a bench. Every part of this special day with you is his favorite.

❣️ - What makes them blush/gets their heart pounding?

Polnareff is a man with a lot of things to say and he’s always very excited to share. He knows that he can be overwhelming, at times, and that often results in people only half-listening or telling him to shut up. He doesn’t expect you to remember every detail (for the most part), but when you show him that you really do have a genuine interest in the things he has to say, he can’t help but to feel his heart pound rampant in his chest. 

He looks up, mid-sentence, expecting you to be looking at your phone or off into space at this point, but you’re not; your eyes are focused on him and there’s a smile on your face because you love the sound of your man’s voice when he’s animatedly talking about something. 

If you add this to words of validation, he’s basically a swooning mess for you.

💕 - Their future goals in a relationship? How far do they want to take it?

What you want, Pol wants, too. He’d travel to infinity and beyond by your side or for your sake, if only you’d allow him to. 

Ideally, he’d stay with you for the rest of your lives, whatever that entails. He loves the idea of eventually marrying you, becoming the Mr. to your Mrs., but he’s also perfectly content in being your life partner and not focusing on the labels. 

No matter what the future has in store, he can only hope to remain by your side, adventuring through life together until you’re both old and gray; loving each other until your hearts stop beating.

You let out growl of frustration, shoving your papers and books off of your desk in a huff. You were trying to get some important research done, but it just wasn’t going your way tonight. Not only had your internet been cutting out for an hour (which is already enough to cut your fuse in half) but now even with the information you needed it just felt like every time you tried to write anything it was coming out just … wrong.

Glaring down at the offending papers where they had landed on the floor, you sigh and let your shoulder slump. That was stupid. Now you had work to get done and a mess to clean up.

As you stood up to start cleaning up, the door to your office opened, and Polnareff leaning his head in, concern clear on his face.

“What’s going on in here, you ok?”

You gesture around helplessly as you give him a stressed smile, fighting back tears as his concerned tone made you realize just how stressed you truly were.

“I’m ok I just.” You pause, taking a breath to steady your shaky tone- there no reason to cry, there really isn’t. “Work just isn’t… working.”

Polnareff walks over to you, gently looping his arms around you and rubbing your back a bit.

“Shh, it’s ok babe. Why don’t you take a break? I was just making some snacks, why don’t we watch some TV and you can relax a bit? This will all be here when you get back.” He says, tone gentle and understanding.

You pause for a moment, pulling back from his embrace and looking around for a moment before nodding at him and letting him lead you downstairs.

A few episodes into some stupid cheesy drama the two of you had put on, and you found yourself barely paying attention to the tv at all.

Polnareff let out another soft moan as you dragged your nails across his chest over the thin fabric of his black tank top. Alright, so you weren’t paying attention at all anymore. How could you be expected to though, you mused as you took in your boyfriends appearance. Polnareff was looking down at you in his lap with hazy eyes, a light blush settled onto his cheeks, seeming to get redder and redder each time your fingers brushed against his hard nipples as you continued your assault on his chest.

Smiling as you slide your hands under his shirt and back up to his chest roughly, all but kneading his pecs, you delight in the sounds that follow. Ah yes, truly there was nothing more relaxing that turning Polnareff into putty in your hands.

He choked out whimper as your ministrations didn’t let up, hips bucking up, letting you feel how hard he was already as he tried to relieve some of the tension building in his body.

Deciding to be nice tonight, you let yourself fall fully into his lap, resting all your weight on him and grinding your crotch into his with equal vigor.

Polnareff shifts a bit, grabbing your ass with one hand, his firm grip gently encouraging you to keep moving as his other hand grabbed a nearby pillow tightly.

“Babe… please…” He whines, watching you with hooded eyes.

You grin as you lean forward, pinching his nipples a bit as you capture his lips in a searing kiss. He moans against you mouth, and you feel the rhythm of his hips stutter a bit.

Pulling back you flash him a wicked smile and practically purr out your suggestion- though it sounds a bit more like a command.

“Pol, won’t you be a good boy and come for me right now?”

You accentuate your words by digging your fingers into his chest. With no shirt acting as a barrier this time your nails dig into his skin, and you can feel his muscles flexing and tensing beneath your hands.

With one last weak cry and a groan of your name, Polnareff cums below you, a wet spot forming on his jeans and he continues to thrust up against you weakly, riding out the waves of his orgasm, panting your name.

Giving him a few moments to catch his breath, you watch him tenderly. Polnareff looks up finally, meeting your eyes and giving you a tired smile.

You lean forward to peck his lips.

Polnareff smiles as he watches you shuffle around the kitchen, looking in all the lower cabinets for the first aid kit you kept there for emergencies.

Polnareff had been through a lot in his life so far. Lots of pain, lots of suffering, and plenty of wounds. He is certainly no doctor, but he feels like he’s been hurt enough to know when it’s something very serious. This is not at all serious. He’d accidentally closed the door on his damn fingers, and while it hurt like hell and had somehow managed to break his skin just a bit, not just bruise it, it really was not a big deal. He’s basically already stopped bleeding. He’d certainly had much much worse.

But you’d always been protective of him, to the point where it was honestly kind of funny. Polnareff was a large man, he knew that, you knew that, or at least he assumed you did. The way you acted, maybe you were unaware that he was practically twice your size. You were always trying to take care of him. It ranged from giving him soup when he was sick and checking his smoke alarm batteries, to offering to walk him home at night (in perfectly safe areas, anyways) and very bravely declaring you would fight anyone that touched a hair on his well-groomed head. Honestly, it was pretty damn adorable.

You stomp into the room with some ice in a towel, looking rather frustrated, lips pouty and nose just a bit wrinkled.

Walking over to him, you gently lifted his injured hand and held the ice against it, offering him an apologetic smile.

“Sorry, I can’t find the first aid kit. I think I have extra bandaids in my car, but I can run out and get stuff if I need to.”

Polnareff chuckles at your offer, shaking his head.

“I think I’ll be alright, it’s barely even bleeding.” He says, his voice gentle as he flashes a lopsided grin at you, “There’s no need to worry about a first aid kit. I’m tough.”

You sulk a bit at his reply.

“I know you’re tough, I’m proud of how strong you are, you know.” You mutter like a petulant child, you glance down, voice getting quieter as you continue, “I just want to take care of you.”

Your quiet confession makes Polnareff’s chest feel tighter. Even now, your soft hands are so gentle on his calloused ones. He was so used to being the one to care of the people he loved, to have someone like you, someone who always looked out for him, no matter how ‘small’ the issue, was heartwarming to him.  Looking at you tenderly, he smiles, taking in the way your lips look so full when you pout, and the distracting way your teeth drag across them as you bite your lips in silent concentration- your whole focus on nursing his hand.

“You’re adorable, and I just. I can’t believe I have you all to myself.” He suddenly blurts out, blushing immediately after he says it.

It’s worth it though, the flush of embarrassment he feels, because his sudden confession makes you go bright red too, and he can’t help but think that it’s a good look for you.

Blush still bright on your cheeks, you look up to meet his eyes, your gaze sincere.

“I can’t believe I have you all to myself either.” You tell him.

Polnareff grins at that, leaning forward to kiss you gently, mentally reaffirming that he would always be there to protect you, and to bask in your tender affections.

A - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Honestly, if his s/o is interested he’d like to go to the gym/run/work out with them. He also enjoys watching movies like most people- but if he gets to pick he specifically wants to see ACTION movies!

C - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc?

Kind of clueless the first time, but he tries to comfort them as best he can. After the first time it happens, he asks his s/o what he should do in the future and does some research on his own. The second time it happens, he much more prepared!

W - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Likes to play with his s/o’s hair if its long enough, he finds it soothing. Will style it weird for laughs if they let him!
