“Her kindness was just manipulation,” Mimiktwo muttered, fists clenched tight. “That’s all it ever was.”

“That’s not true,” Myut said gently. “And I don’t think you really believe that.”

“AND WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ME?!”

“A lot more than you think,” he replied calmly. “She left logs. Digital logs I managed to salvage.”

He took a careful step closer.

“She cared about you. And from everything she wrote… you cared about her too.”

Mimiktwo’s expression twisted. Her tendrils lashed out—one swiped across his face, drawing a scratch.

He didn’t flinch.

“Stop… talking,” she whispered, voice cracking as she lowered her head.

“Shut up. Just… shut up.”

Her legs buckled, and she dropped to her knees.

“Shut up…”

Myut knelt beside her and slowly pulled her into a hug.

“She loved you, Mimiktwo.”

And she broke.

A raw, shaking wail tore from her chest as she clung to him like she’d been holding it in for years. Her claws dug into his back, sharp enough to hurt.

But he didn’t pull away. Didn’t complain.

She needed this.

As far as he knows, he never saw the security footage.

What would Lavender's fam think of Mimiktwo? (Here's the height) She has no Psychic abilities and is unable to talk (never learned).

Mimiktwo is only three inches taller than Lav, and Lav's excited to meet a 'two that's so similar to her!

Randy and Akoya aren't as thrilled. Akoya's tentatively curious about the second set of eyes, while Randy's just not comfortable around Ghost types. (I'm assuming Mimiktwo is at least partially Ghost type.)

I'm thinking about giving my Mews light fluffage from now on. It just feels natural to do so. For some reason I didn't do it with Lav, though.
