hc where mc turns into a rabbit when she gets flustered
i go a bit feral every time Min He’s eyes are mentioned😔
Hello, it has been a long time seeing your posts again. I hope you are well and stay safe. Did you know a fact that kissing someone’s hair means longing/yearning or even respect to this person? Imagine MC brushes Min He then kisses her hair as a confession but Min He never notice until someone point it out? Excuse me, I’m gonna cry myself to sleep now.. Stay safe and healthy everyone!
It is difficult to hide it from her, from a goddess so accustomed to wishes and prayers, and a part of you does not want to hide this love.
However, you cannot be so hasty. You know that it is not so easy to love a being as regal and generous as the Lady Min He. She cannot belong only to you, especially to you, who is merely just another under her wing.
Yet, you cannot help being selfish.
You run the dark, lacquered comb through her hair, marveling at the deep gloss that halos around her shoulders and waist. She still smells of soap and floral oils, and her chi has settled down, bringing a low mist into the room. You reach to brush a stray lock around her ear, and she tilts her head into your touch.
You are both quiet, and you are afraid to disturb the peace that has lulled you both into this intimacy. To speak now would be a waste, and you do not trust your voice at the moment anyhow. You tuck your hands underneath her hair to tie it all together, and her forehead tilts back.
Min He’s eyes meet yours. They are dark tonight, so full of shadows that you cannot make out the forecast within them. She hums, amused and a little shy, and the sound of her voice lulls you to action.
You press a kiss to her hair, dangerously close to her skin, and she chuckles.
“Thank you as always.” She reaches up with her hand and touches the corner of your eye with a finger. It is affectionate, but--you note bitterly--not a lover’s touch. It does not linger, and does not burn.
How you wish it did.
“Of course.” You mumble, feeling as though some spell has been broken, and pull back to finish the tie and separate from her completely. “It is my pleasure.”

Min He’s hair tumbles out of her tie and spills down her back, settling comfortably against her waist. It sways, disturbed by a breeze, before you gather it all into your hands and begin weaving your fingers through the strands. The knots come undone easily and after a few urging tugs, a few locks come to rest over your forearms, tickling your skin.
You lean forward and, sensing movement, Min He obligingly leans back so that you’re speaking into her ear. “I heard that you got kicked out of the kitchen today.”
“Ah.” She laughs and some more hair is shaken from her shoulders. “That’s right, Qiu caught me cooking earlier today.”
“What were you trying to make?” With the larger knots out, you take the brush near your knees and comb through her hair, pulling away the locks from her face until you can see the outline of her smirk.
“I wasn’t trying to make anything.” Mischievously, Min He glances back. “I knew he was going to find me, so I boiled some water to see what he would do.” She pauses for effect, looking rather proud of herself. “He puffed up quite a bit.”
“Poor Qiu.” You scoff and tug on her ear teasingly as you pass it with the brush. “Between you and An, it’s a miracle he stays at the shrine at all.”
“Clearly, you have not been here long enough.” She responds prettily, angling her head up so that light reflects into her eyes, turning them into silver moons. “Our quail gets his fair share of revenge.”
“I’m sure.” You quirk a brow and, sensing your disbelief, Min He dissolves into laughter.
“You will see.” She promises coyly before straightening again. “In some ways, his jokes can be worse than An’s.”
You roll your eyes and chuckle yourself, before the sweeping the brush against her hair one last time. With it finally neatened, you coax the black locks all into your hand again, and then sweep it over her left shoulder so you can prop your chin onto her right. Min He hums, pleased, and her chi wraps around the both of you in a warm, protective blanket.
“Thank you.” She presses a kiss into your temple that washes over you like morning dew. Something like relief fills you, and you curl into that blissful feeling.
“Mm.” You soak in her warm affection, basking in it as if it were piece of candy melting over your tongue. You savor it all: the soft skin pressing against your cheek, her warm breath passing over your brow, her pulse fluttering against your own—you feel lulled and you can’t help but to yawn into her shoulder.
“Are you tired already?” Her laughter shakes you, and you snuggle closer to her in response. You feel her hand against your forehead, her cool fingers smoothing out the corner of your eyes before slipping down to cradle your jaw.
“It’s your fault.” You murmur, miffed, and she chuckles again.
“I see.” Min He says, and before you’ve realized it, she’s turned around so that you nearly drop into her lap.
“My apologies.” She whispers, pulling you close, and it’s like falling into cream, into a cloud of cotton where you’re surrounded only by her arms around your waist, her voice against your ear. “Let’s go to sleep then.”
soup!! do you have any details you can share about the mountain crew's (min he an and qiu's) friendship?? i love the 3 of them together

- An and Qiu are both observant and cautious by nature, but An keeps a very objective view while Qiu can be quite subjective at times. They’re well aware of this and they often go the other for advice when they need the change of perspective.
- Min He can actually do most chores by herself, like cooking, cleaning and repairing. Sometimes, if she notices a task that no one has started yet, she’ll just do it herself even though it stresses Qiu and An out when they catch her. Sometimes, it seems like she does it just to mess with them.
- The three of them are pretty close, as most minor gods are with their Ko, but there’s still a distinct barrier between them. Qiu and An always defer to Min He’s judgement and Min He isn’t afraid to wield her power over them. This balance between familiarity and formality allows them to perform all of their duties without making living with one another too unbearable!
- An became Min He’s retainer first and she’s quite proud of that, hence her tendency to dote or cling to the god whenever she’s near. Qiu, on the other hand, is older and has technically known Min He longer, but he couldn’t bring himself to trust her for a while. He eventually came into her fold when he realized he could do more with her help, and he has since softened his behavior towards her.
- Qiu is the designated cook, though it’s not because he’s particularly good at it. An doesn’t attempt to learn and he actively tries to stop Min He from cooking, so he’s sort of stuck with it. His meals are decent and they’re not bad per se, but he doesn’t really have a passion for it.
- Neither Qiu nor An are considered to be young anymore, but Min He thinks they could stand to grow a little more. She tends to just drop random errands on them to see how they fare, and more than once has sent them on some vague soul-searching quest that neither of them can make heads nor tails of.
