Hello!! I just wanted you to know I recently read Seasons of Love, which was my first long in depth kuroken fic, and I loved ittttttt. In fact, I loved it so much that it prompted me to draw my first real kuroken fan art, which you can see on my art blog (mminacoleta). I hope you like it!!! HAPPY KUROKEN DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was extremely busy this weekend with a friend’s wedding, but WOW WHAT A THING TO COME BACK TO!!!

Remember. You are absolutely, categorically in the right. You know the value that you bring. Believe in yourself, stick to the facts. Statements, not feelings. I do A, B, C, tasks on top of my core duties. I work X # hours in addition to my core hours. Laying it out can work in your favour. It has for me. If they say no, you'll know where you stand. Pull back the amount of work you do accordingly. Do that which you are actually paid for. Trust yourself. Solidarity! :)

you deserve a raise if youve worked for a company for that long. dont throw your coworker under the bus for not working, as that reflects poorly on you. i think you should approach it in the way of "i do a lot for the company and have taken on many new responsibilities since ive started to work here and I think i deserve a raise." use strong language, stay firm, believe in yourself.

thank y’all so so much. i’ve decided to leave my co-worker out it and just keep it about myself. even if this yields no result, i feel like it’s really important to do. and if they can’t do anything for me, that’s fine, i’m dusting off my resume. i’ve made my lists and done my research and will be practicing my “”speech”” with k for a few nights before i arrange a meeting with my boss. i appreciate your advice and support so much!!! hope you both are having great nights :*

youre actually supposed to get your teeth cleaned every 6 months to a year, depending on what your teeth are like!! tbh i think going to the dentist regularly is way more important than the eye doctor bc your eyes dont need to be cleaned u no

I GUESS :( though when I did last go he didn't offer to clean them. (Maybe the NHS doesn't offer that lololol.) My teeth are pretty hardy, so if I don't go to the dentist, nothing happens, whereas I need to go to the opticians bc if I don't update my prescription I can't really see, lol.

HI IM READING YOUR PACIFIC RIM FIC AND IT IS GLORIOUS all i have to say is i think that between gypsy danger being decommissioned and the jager program being shut down there was a five year gap, not two months? idk that was my initial confused reaction while reading so i thought i'd say something

i don’t remember the fic exactly at the moment but they decommission the program in like 2020, after knifehead and becket senior’s death?

the stop funding it but that doesn’t mean it’s shut down completely… the UN still needs jaegers until the wall is completed. i think i said they decommission the jaeger program in 2020 and then tried to show the passing of time?

Two months after Knifehead, the United Nations sunset the Jaeger Program. 

yeah okay we’re in 2020 here, and then people start leaving (newt’s interns and such, there’s that thing where newt talks with tendo over coffee) and the next thing is 

Mutavore attacks in 2025, when they’ve got nothing left, 

[…]PPDC gradually decommissions all Shatterdomes but one, and Pentecost tells them they’re relocating to Hong Kong. 

so basically they spent five years working and using up all the remaining funds, and then in 2025 the UN shut the program down for good (which is the scene you see in the movie, when pentecost says they don’t need the UN and basically has chau fund the program)
