Late by a lot of hours, slightly rushed but--Happy Tenchi Day!

Whuzzat? You didn't know Tenchi had its own day?! Don't worry, most people don't, sadly.

Tenchi Day comes on September 25th, as it's the date that the first episode of the first OVA was released--and the day of the 7th episode of the OVA--and then the date of the first episode of the second OVA! Dang, they were consistent, weren't they? You can read more info here.

Of course, even if all the dates listed are for the OVA, the entire day is obviously for all entries in the Tenchi franchise. After all, it's Tenchi Day. You can see people's replies mentioning different entries from one year here.

So, naturally...I had to give some love to the Okuda manga with Asahi and a very special statue she just made! ｡^‿^｡ I love Asahi. The Okuda manga needed to be animated yesterday, quite frankly!

Minagi Yamaiya

Minagi is a transfer student to Kamiyama High School in his third year. Though he is smart and skilled in technology, he's shy and secluded and compares himself to others often. Minagi is sensitive and timid, easily frightened by the smallest things.

After being approached by his classmates Rui Kamishiro and Tsukasa Tenma, Minagi is quickly involved in the activities of entertainment troupe Wonderlands x Showtime. tbqh it's the loyalty kink and its associated winner trope, the liege and knight romance. this ship for me i don't ship on its own, because mamoru is my focus character, but i ship them as a super special part of the giant poly ship mess i have running in the back of my head 100% of the time

Spring troupe and Jealousy

I haven’t updated in so long 😭 I might continue writing this sort of thing since I haven’t really written anything in a long time and I wanna get back on writing for these dorks and get a feel on their characters again (sorry for the requests in my inbox and for taking such a long time to finish writing 😭)

Sakuya Sakuma

Sakuya doesn’t get jealous easily, he has complete trust over you and he knows how much of a great person you are

But there are instances when he does feel that certain type of emotion and when he does feel jealous, he tends to get worried, would you leave him for that person you’re talking to? Should he be worried, he wouldn’t even do anything to pull you away (unless he can visibly see you feeling uncomfortable) because he wants you to finish your conversation with the person you’re talking to

Masumi Usui

He gets jealous easily, it’s not that he doesn’t trust you (He does, believe me) but rather he doesn’t trust the person that’s with you

When he’s jealous, he doesn’t waste any time on being clingy with you, holding your hand, hugging you from behind or kissing your cheeks, he also wouldn’t mind scaring off the person if that person is making you visibly uncomfortable

Tsuzuru Minagi

Tsuzuru does get jealous but not as often as Masumi, he only gets jealous when he sees another person getting too close with his s/o for his liking or when he could literally feel them flirting with his s/o

He’s going to pull you away, maybe even pull the “we have somewhere to go to” card just to get his s/o away from that person, once that person is gone, Tsuzuru’s going to ask you a bunch of questions like what you two were talking about and such but he’ll try to show you a clam facade and act like he wasn’t jealous

Itaru Chikagasaki

Just like Tsuzuru, I don’t think Itaru gets too jealous when his s/o is talking to another person, maybe when that person is openly flirting with his s/o or touching his s/o too much then he will get jealous

Jealous Itaru would keep his calm, collected adult facade up but anybody could tell he’s trying to up the other person if they still don’t back off from his s/o (thankfully they do and he doesn’t have to resort to fighting which I personally think he isn’t good at in real life)

Chikage Utsuki

Chikage is the type of person that would sometimes find it humorous when someone’s so blatantly flirting with his s/o (and doing a bad job at it) but when it gets serious and he sees his s/o feeling uncomfortable then he would step up

When it’s the former type then he would let you handle it but when it’s the latter then he wouldn’t hesisitate to scare off that person, I think he would give off that really scary aura while smiling at the person scaring his s/o and telling them to back off

Citron

Citron also isn’t the jealous type of boyfriend, honestly aside from Sakuya he’s probably the most chill one

He really wouldn’t care about you hanging out with other people and such but if there’s any red flags that he sees or you tell him about then it’s over for that other person, he wouldn’t hesitate on doing anything if it means it could protect you
