The Elites tend to unconsciously mirror when they're close together, like cats in the same room. They wear each other's body language, and have been called by the wrong name multiple times. It gets weird for mostly everyone and for no one more than Newt, who once was about to leave the room and kissed Aris instead of Thomas and then promptly bolted.

Thomas is not bothered by this. He finds it absolutely hysterical.
