It's crazy how much chemistry all the TMR characters have with each other. I can see almost ANY ship happening. I'm serious. Give me a ship that is not adult x child or Chuck (I don't ship him because he's like 12 and everyone else is 16-18) and I can justify it. I love them ALL. Newtmas? Hell yeah. Thominho? I ship it so hard. Nalby? needs to be more popular. Minally or Thomally? Silly, I love it. Minalby? WHY have I seen nobody talking about this one. And the lesbians too. Do NOT try to tell me that Sonyarriet isn't canon. My favorite lesbian ship is Brenderesa. Yes I know it would never realistically happen, but it's FUN, so fuck you. And if we have to be straight, I could see Brenda and Minho, Brenda and Frypan, or Alby and Teresa. I just prefer gays because I find it more fun. But almost anything is possible, like I said.

Y’all ever just wonder if Newt and Thomas or Sonya and Harriet—or whatever queer TMR ship you like—were queer before the trials but WICKED erased the entire idea of homosexuality when they went in? So if anyone felt a certain way about someone else in their maze, they would be more fearful to act on it because that had no defining recognition of anyone ever feeling the same way as them.

always weirds me out when someone says that Sonya and Harriet are parallels to Newt and Alby when theyre very clearly meant to be Minho and Newt

i mean, Sonya and Harriet were Co leaders, just like minewt, and iirc harriet seemed to be the one In Charge, just like Minho. thats all we get in the books, but its pretty damning near immediately

and in the movies, Harriet mourned Sonya and Aris after they got taken by WICKED like Newt did for Minho and partially Teresa. Sonya got taken, so did Minho. Sonya seemed to be more confrontational, as did minho, while harriet and newt were more subtle

and while we dont get much Group B lore, I'm willing to bet Miyoko, one of the only other named girls (iirc, beth is the only other named one, but is a parallel to gally) is Alby's parallel. from the few sentences we saw her in tfc, she was stern and protective over her friends, which matches pretty well with alby at that time if i do say so myself.
