You know in mind warp when king yrcanos says that an ambush a woman's way of fighting and Peri responds with "thanks a lot" well I really don't think that was an insult. I headcannon that where king yrcanos comes from, men and women are treated as completely equal, which means their strengths and weaknesses are recognised not with compatition, but celebration.
Where men tend to be more physically strong, that means their strengths will be brute force and and physically taking people on. And then women tend to be more calculating their fighting style leans more towards strategy than physical strength, meaning that having men and women on a team with their strengths working together, is just how it works where king yrcanos comes from.
But Peri, who comes from earth where women's strengths are seen as weakness, she sees yrcanos' comment as an insult rather than a simple observation. He sees an ambush as simply women putting their skills to practice, where Peri sees cowardice, as earth has taught her
" yes mako chan~ chest pains a side effect of your horrible diet~"
The floofy empress put her hand on her hogs chest as she came to drink the shake blushing wildly
"oh my can you feel that it's racing~ so coated in lard you're giving it quire the workout!~ can you hear it?~ THUMP THUMP THUMP!!~"
Letting go of her chest haru then moved to hog-koto's massive gut.. Burying her head in it for a few seconds before rising with a wide smile~
"are you coming back to your senses~ now?~ or are ypu just calling me my empress for forgiveness~ I'll never truly know~ unless"
She put the plate of burgers nearer while makoto chugged and chugged the artery clogging milkshake..
"You're hog-koto my pet project~ accept it~ otherwise i mighthave to put you as our gresse trap until your Poor lardy heart goes~ POP!~"
"A diet... I don't remember at all... Urgh..."
That resistance really could not hold against what this body craved, even if her mind was still trying to fight against what this reality had for her... The struggle growing more in vain as the lard ran down her throat. Her heart... Her gut... They both knew what she truly needed over what she tried to fight...
"E-Empress Haru-sama..."
It slipped out as if it was practiced thousands of times over the 'norm' she used to have... Right before the emptied container clattered to the floor... And those greedy hands reached into that pile and started cramming away... Surely this was better than the alternative... And...
"Mmm... Mmmnnn... Omphnomph... Urpmm... Oink..."
It felt... So good...~
You know those plots where a character is going about their day in what they think is a normal fashion and then something absolutely mundane happens and pure muscle memory brings them to turn around to ask someone's opinion or mention something, but whoever was supposed to be there isn't and without any warning they're just silently crying, like full on rivers of tears down their face, and everyone around them is worried but no one understands what they're talking about or feeling-- there was never anyone there?-- and now they just have this like deep, indelible ache that someone important is missing--not even they know who, it's just that someone was supposed to be there, someone who was always there--but they seem to have been inexplicably written out of the universe yet their impression is so deep on this particular person that they couldn't ever, really forget them and now they're determined to find any trace of their existence??
