it's a cliched experience that i cringe even admitting, but sitting above the valley and just watching the colors in the sky change was mind-opening. i wish i could start every morning like that. 

and with memories of trail-running fresh on the mind, heading off to pound it out on a treadmill. truly depressing. jet-setter problems.
