Recharging Yourself Meditation
This can work as a mindfulness activity, meditation or an energy recharge:
Sit or lie in a comfortable position and close your eyes.
Imagine you can see the air around you.
Pick your favourite colour or a colour that feels good/happy/pure.
That’s the colour of the air. It represents positivity. It’s like a smoke, enveloping you.
Every time you breathe in, some of that pure, good smoke enters your airways.
Feel it move to your lungs and round your body.
Take a deep breathe and allow the goodness to fill you.
Take another.
Now, imagine you can see your breathe out.
It is not the same colour as the air around you. It is a bad colour. It represents pain. It is everything you’ve been holding on to. It is everything that hurts you.
When you breathe out, everything hurting you, everything you’re holding on to, it leaves you.
It’s gone.
When this bad smoke enters the smoke around you, it changes colour. The bad colour becomes the good colour.
Every time you breathe in, you breathe in positivity and happiness and goodness.
Every time you breathe out, you breathe out negativity and pain which then disappears.
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Recharge yourself with good energy for as long as you need then finish.
